I use HealBot as well, while my boyfriend uses Whammy. I find HealBot to be flexible, easy on the eyes and best of all, easy to use.
My current main is a Resto Druid and I can program all of her heals, her de-curse and Abilosh poison/cure poison spells into it.
It shows up as a simple grid (I'm on the wrong computer to link a ss) whih you can customize the colors/appearance easily. You can change the size, have it place flashing bars around the person with aggro, and assign colors for buffs. It even has the option of showing mana bars.
For example, if someone is hit with a curse, their bar turns yellow, a poison will turn it dark green. Mark of the Wild will turn the bar from dark blue to pink and Thorns will change the bar from pink to light green.
Mousing over each bar will show the toon's life, mana and often type (resto, balance or Feral for druids) unless they recently changed specs. It shows the remaining time of buffs you place and if a buff is needed.
To set a mouse over macro, you click in the location you want the spell (for example I chose the left mouse button for regrowth, middle for rejuvination) and type the name of the spell in the correct case. ( It allows for all mouse buttons to be programmed and with sift, alt or control it's got space to spare) Last step, close the window.
I find it incredibly easy and manageble. Best of all, it doesn't impact my framerate.
