So I registered for full version of fraps, paid for it through paypal and was awaiting an email for registration details..

I got no email, so used 'contact us' link, and still nothing..

The money has come outta my bank, how long do I leave this before I dial 911?

How long has it been? Sometimes it can take a while for emails to come through. Have you checked your spam and the like?

It's been about 3 hours, I know it's not an eternity but it did say it should be instant anyway..

My gf is adding extra pressure onto me as I've used her paypal account to register it, and i'm having a hard time convincing her that fraps is a genuine company >.>

Haha. It is, I've bought Fraps from them before. Technically the company is Beepa PTY and the product is fraps. It could take several hours, but most likely the email has gotten lost somewhere between you and them. I'd wait for them to contact you, and worry about it in a couple of days if you haven't heard anything.

I seriously doubt they took your money and ran though.

fraps is like the benchmark for game recording, afaik they are a reputable company and I doubt they bailed with your dough.

This begs the question; why pay for it?

This may come as a suprise, but some people actually like to contibute to the makers of a great software, as well as enjoy support, upgrades in the future etc.
As opposed to using a program you didn't pay for.

My email also took its time coming but it does come. bug them tomorrow again if it doesnt come through.

I bought fraps 2 or 3 years ago. They are legit.
Patience. Call them up after waiting one day.
