This podcast covers several subjects regarding Wrath of the Lich King, with an emphasis on our first impressions and our experiences in the new instances and zones. This was recorded with new software and has some vocal inconsistencies as a result (bear with us!).

nice finally podcasts again <3
you may look into a java-irc-client - that should not have a connection to your server running at all.
e.g. #maintankadin @ Quakenet there are already a lot of ppl there capable of answering tanking questions and stuff

Lore - you completely forgot about Bane of Treachery in regular ramps. An actual "don't stand near anyone" mechanic in 5 mans.

Eh, most of the pugs I've been through considered it more of a "decurse or take a bunch of damage" thing

or a "why is everyone taking damage" thing

or a "why am I dead now lol" thing.

That's just my natural speaking voice. It comes from a life of heavy drinking

How does the RAF thing work. Say I wanted a level 60 Dwarf Warrior in 4 days played, how would RAF do that?

Invite a friend to play the game with you using an e-mail form in your Account Management page. They have to create a new account, so it either needs to be a friend who wants a second account or one who is new to WoW.

Then, log in and level together. As long as you're in the party, you will completely own face. 3x quest experience, 3x kill experience, and 1.5x rep if I'm not mistaken.

.5% more rep each time u do anything. So, if you get 4 rep killing something, you get 6 rep instead.

It's closer to 5% rep then .5% rep.

What problems are you having recording over Vista, I run a tech company and have plenty of times to fix Vent server issues and software issues? 10 bucks says its an issue with the Admin properties set with vista.

Been running through it onmy own with a second character. Killing Undead mobs in Plaguelands usually give 5 rep, the amount of rep I am getting per mob is 5(+.5 Refer-a-friend) meaning every second mob is giving me 6 rep.

Looks like it is actually 10% more rep tho, rather then 5%

To add to this - it says right on the Blizzard FAQ page that this does not officially have to be a "friend." You are allowed to send an invite to yourself, setup a second account, and run your own toons up together. I ended up getting my 3rd wow account for this, I have 2 lowbie toons and 1 toon to run through instances.

Level 0-10, partied questing, 10 in <2hours
Level 10-20, wailing caverns, 20 in about 3 more hours
Level 20-40, SM Cath, 40 in under a day /played, able to push 120,000 xp / hour

You can keep running Cath past 40, but your XP per kill starts diminishing after 40 and you are now able to enter ZF although this is not as easy of an instance to AOE clear. I've been busy in RL so I haven't spent any more time after getting 4 toons to 40 very quickly, but if people are interested I can provide more feedback on ZF (and future instance) clears.
