| | | T9 item/EoT loot order?
I know Veneretio does a great job on TankingTips.com providing analysis of the tank loot order for the different tier pieces as far as how he thinks one should prioritize EoC and EoT purchases, but is there a similar source for the warrior DPS gear?
What I'm looking for is a list that might discuss which pieces are worth spending our conquest and triumph badges on and which ones might not be. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
**edit** I'm not sure if I should post this under the "gear" forum or under the "dps" forum

The ring is really nice, but 10man TOGC/25man TOGC provide better items. If you aren't doing it regularly, I would pick the ring up. (Not the str one, the agility one).
The helm is really nice as well, but the ony one is comparable/better.
Same with the throwing weapon, it's good, but better options out there.
I would attempt get 4 set as soon as possible, since it's a huge dps upgrade. It really depends on the pieces you have and your luck with vault, but I would generally go Legs>chest>shoulders>gloves.

If you are Fury, you want 2-piece T9 as soon as possible. The agility-based emblem ring is close to best in slot for Fury outside of hard-modes, unless you are seriously hurting for hit rating.
Like DeviousOne said, it really depends on your current gear and if you have luck on Koralon, but the T9 pants are itemized very nicely, and most people snag the shoulders since they are cheap and provide "the look". The chest is itemized similarly to the T8.5 chest, so if you have an abundance of Conquest emblems, you may want to snag that chest and save the T9 chest for last (to give 4-piece). That way you won't have problems with losing expertise or hit rating since neither chest has them.

The 75 badge helm and bloodshed band are excellent purchases. It's always good to have items like the ring so you can switch around hit rating if needed. I recommend the 75 badge helm bc the Ony one is total RNG whether it drops or not.
There are 2 schools of thought and as of yet I haven't seen the 4pc DPS quantified. I've seen really good DPS warriors with the 4pc and others without it. What I would personally recommend is to get the T9 shoulders and legs from badges. The T9 regular shoulders are nearly BiS and the legs as well because they help you get expertise capped quickly. Also they have lots of crit.
On an item-by-item comparison, there are also several items in the helm, glove and chest slot that are better than their T9 set counterparts. The 75 badge and Ony helms are nearly equal and both quite a bit better than the T9 helm. In the glove slot there are gloves off Anub 25 which are very solid. There are also 2 gloves in togc10 that are pretty accessible and both are excellent: Gauntlets of Rising Anger and Sunreaver Assassin's. The later is considered because in slot until 25 heroic and the stats are mindboggling. In the chest dept you have the Titanium Razorplate which is BiS until 25H and a heroic 10 man chest of the Valks I believe which is also excellent. If you run a tight-knit 10 man it is likely you will get a shot at these items.
Looking at Conquest badge items, I would recommend crafting the DPS runed orb belt and getting the Brooch of Wailing Night(if you don't have better).
Going for the 4pc nets you 5% crit on Heroic strike but likely loses you a good portion of ArP and attack power. It's your call, if someone can show me numbers on the actual DPS value of the 4pc I'll amend this post.
What I'm going to do is get 2pc triumph shoulders/legs use the Razorplate/Valks leather chest, rock the Razorplate, Thunderous Rage helm and Sunreaver Assassin's gloves. It makes me sad using pieces I know are quite inferior like the T9 gloves.

The 4pc is about a 300-500 dps increase. It's huge. HS is your most used attack, and gives you rage on crits. 5% extra crit on your most spammed attack is a huge bonus.
Bloodshed sucks. You don't need hit as fury, considering how low the required hit rating is.
Get 4pc. Fast. It's a huge upgrade.

The 4pc is about a 300-500 dps increase. | Can you point to any theory that proves this. I haven't found anything at all on it and its killing me in making gear choice.

for the 4pc i would go helm, chest, shoulders, and gloves if you are going arms. there are way better legs that drop off 10man anub. for fury dont get the gloves but the legs since its harder to get expertise cap and pick up the gloves off anub 25man.

I was struggling with this last night. I don't spend much time in my fury offspec, but I've been picking up gear from ToGC10 which no-one else wanted and ended up with some nice pieces (ony helm, gauntlets of rising anger, anub legs, all ilvl 245 versions). I already had the shoulders, so picked up the chest to get the 2pc bonus but I am now really struggling for expertise. Even with a few expertise gems and victor's call, I'm running at 21 expertise. I'm trawling wowhead but I'm not seeing many good options to reach the expertise cap.

I got the throwing weapon (expertise, and saves me carrying bullets/arrows), tier hands and legs and trembling rage shoulders - there was some logic to those shoulders above the tier ones, but don't ask me what it was! Next on my list is chest (direct upgrade in same stats from T8) and helm to get 4pc. Working mainly on the principal that its all ilvl higher than what I have atm! (Fury btw).

If you are struggling for expertise as Fury, try to pick up the sword from Onyxia.

Armory is arms now. I got a wild hair and wanted to toy around with it again.
Anyways my fury set is very similar. I bought legs and shoulders at the same time. Then I got gloves and chest a couple weeks later.
I may get the helm too so I can drop the gloves and boots. I've had no luck in maly25 or ToC5 for the boots there. Its truly sad I've never even SEEN them drop.
The bonuses in T9 suck... Hard. But better stats overall is reason enough for me to get them.

I'm sure this is an opinion based question but would it be better to invest my Triumph emblems in getting the 4pc t9 set first and then going after the 75 emblem helm after that, or should I get the helm and ring first and THEN go after the 4pc t9 set?
I currently have the t9 shoulders and legs and t8.5 hands, chest, and helm? What do you guys think?

if you are arms, use the badge helm and open your leg slot to a non-tier item.
if you are fury, get the legs but buy the badge helm.
you should go for your 4pc first whichever way you go.
