So, I gemmed quite a few +20 crit rating gems on my Warlocks gear, and I was told to gem all +23 spellpower gems, unless I needed hit rating (and except for what I need for meta gem). However, when I looked at potentially getting slot bonuses, I was thinking perhaps I should do this:
+23 spell power for all red slots
+12 spell power +10 haste rating for all yellow slots

With the exception of what I need to meet the meta reqs.

It seems like haste rating is more valuable than crit up until I get 15% haste? But after that, I still should gem spell power over crit?

firstly, dont gem or enchant for hit, you get enough from gear.

23 SP in red, 12 SP/10 haste everywhere else. After you get your 15% haste go for spell power, that increases your non crits aswell as your crits, and nowadays you have no imp SB debuff that needs keeping up.

Thanks for the comments. I do get enough hit from gear now, but, when I didn't before it was necessary to gem and enchant for it. But you're likely right, from here on out there should be some piece of gear or another that will bring me back to hit cap if I fall back under.

The hit cap has me handcuffed at the moment. I have had to gem/enchant for hit just to get to ~250 by myself.

no for your blues use purified dreadstone, because spirit helps locs sp also but in differnet conversions
