Been playing with my rotation a little bit lately to see how much more DPS I can squeeze out and had this thought:

The rule has always been to use Heroic Strike as your rage dump ability, and that's what I've always done. The last couple days, however, I've been changing that up. I continue to use Heroic Strike on single mobs or boss fights, but when fighting a group of mobs or with more than 1 in weapon range, I use Cleave as the rage dump instead.

Simply put, I figure if the ability is to get more dps while not wasting rage (i.e. "dumping" it), why not dump into an ability that will hit two mobs instead of one? Also, I think (and I don't know for certain, but just an observation) Cleave crits more often and harder than HS.

Anyway, doing this the last couple days I've noticed I do more damage in dungeons and raids. Of course, you have to use your rotation wisely, and boss fights and single mobs still get HS.

4019 AP unbuffed
31.09% crit
363 hit

Hi, I'm really unsure of what stats I should pursue/get which is "ideal" for a TG warrior

Currently I have (all in Zerker Stance, no buffs)

3.7k AP
43.08% crit
23/23 expertise
356 hit.

Any advise anyone?

Here's all the advice I have to offer:

stick to the rotation and enjoy slaying, those stats are hot. well.. maybe sac some of that crit for AP you're not really looking for burst in TG and it is AP that will put you at the top of the recount reports

So.. is everyone agreed that improved execute is wasted talent pts, even taking into consideration that t7 set bonuses further reduce the rage cost, making theoretically free executes? My feelings won't be hurt if you say yes..

me too man I even went so far as to try out improved cleave with good results, this just makes sense when you're competing with mage aoe just don't let ww cool down without the rage, you know that

oh and on your stats, you might could sac a little AP for some crit, try to maybe get it up to 33 - 35%, let us know any changes in damage if you do though I'd be interested

got a question about Unbridled Wrath, is it useful? is it worth these 5 points?

asking since battle shout (ive spent 5 points in commanding presence) doesnt give anything since BS doesnt stack with BoM (talking about dps, not commanding shout)

Hey!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I was considering dropping some Crit for AP, might decide after tonight's 25naxx run, see how it goes you know?

Anyone have a idea on how our rotations are now since bloodsurge can proc off any of our 3 main attacks? Do you just hit the slam button when bloodsurge procs or what?

Can anyone
* Point me to what a good TG levelling spec looks like @60+ (or if you even would)?
and/or
* Say a few things about it in this thread here (doesn't seem out of place)?

Hey guys,

Just wondering, I've been looking at this forum and wondering why people don't like so much hit. I mean, isn't most of our damage based around white hits?

And also, i regemmed for a lot more AP today from hit to test it out, and it seems like my dps/dmg(overall) has dropped. I'm currently running in zerk stance:

3383 AP
28.75% crit
323 hit
16/16 expertise (duel maces/dwarf)

I just ran 10 man VoA and heroic HoL today and switched some gear around and did some regemming and, as i said before, it seemed as if my dps dropped about 200-300dps. What's goin' wrong?

No?

It's usually 27-30% ish for me...

People don't like hit (after the soft cap) because it's mathematically our worst stat.

Then I am really confused about the hit situation since I lost so much dps replacing hit with other stats.

Try spamming HS less.

Also, you'll notice that most of these guides, including mine, are oriented toward 25 man raiding. In 25 mans, you'll tend to have a lot more buffs that crank up your rage generation than you will in 10 mans.

Your crit and AP are also relatively low for TG fury.

Oh, ok. Anyways, thanks for the tip on crit and AP, I will definitely do that.

I'm contemplating dropping around a 100 hit or so for gear with more AP/Crit/Arp/Haste.

Currently, I'm over expertise cap, at 313 hit rating, 40.20% crit, 4020 or so AP unbuffed.

Since my last post ive gotten some new gear giving me more plus to hit, and Expertise. Whats the cap for expertise? And the new soft cap with TG since they took of the -5% Hit Rating from it?

Also how the hell are some fo you guys at 40% +crit at 4k AP? Without sacraficing hit I just dont see how... but I am kinda gear dumb so...

WOW I really was Gear dumb. Ive gotten almost all lvl213 gear now and I am seeing the alot more crit and I am still maintaining the 4k AP lvl with the soft cap for hit.

I have also been respecing alot to max my DPS for my play style. I think I have accutally found a good spec that fits. The only thing is I dont use HS I use it like a normal ability when my CDs are down on WW and BT. I also just go ahead and use slam when BS procs. I am averaging 3.5k DPS in all boss fight * with the exception of Thad and Loath which are more * and I still have enough rage to use WW and BT 95 percent of the time.

I have a quick question and please redirect me to the other thread if this is the wrong place to ask.

In a non-imaginary 10 man raid where you (me, to be exact) are the only Warrior at all, and there are not much melee dps at all, how important Sunder Armor application is? On a boss, should I first stack 5 SAs at any cost, or should I use it as a rage dump between WWs and BTs until the full stack, or should I not bother with it at all dumping all the available rage to HSs instead?

Again, as all the other dps are ranged, this question is more of maximizing personal DPS issue than assisting the raid.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

What should I do , I think I have to much AP and to low crit/hit , should I change some of my items/gems and try to get more hit/crit or other stats instant of AP ?

AP: 4301
37.76% crit
298 hit
125 expertise
117(7.6% ApR)
298 haste

unbuffed in berserker.

I always have a draenei in party in 25 raids so its 1% more hit
