| | | Fury Talents for patch 3
Hey guys,
Trying to work out my talents for patch 3. I decided to stick with 1H fury as I don't usually run with a Feral Druid so I'm figuring rampage will be more useful than going arms for extra dps (usually a caster heavy raid). I don't have the 2H's for going TG, so that's also ruled out. I could go something similar to the current 17/44 build like this: http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warr...12253120501000
or I could go with incite and improved execute (or maybe switch execute and imp HS? http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warr...12253120501050
What do you guys think or will these both suck and I should just grow a pair and grind some 2H'rs?
My gear is mainly Badge/T4/S2/Crafted - currently using both badge fists, but I do have the honor to get a S2 axe. Hoping to get Zuljin down tomorrow night too so maybe if that happened TG would be viable.

Pretty sure Arms is going to be Top DPS warrior spec until level 80. I'd strongly suggest you check out the axe specs.
Warning: I infer this from casual reading here and at elitist jerks but afaik they have not badly nerfed Arms and it was just creaming fury in beta and on the PTR.

Yeh, unless they changed something from the PTR to live, Arms is gonna be your best dps spec, and a variation of the old 17/44/0 is still beating TG unless you have enormous amounts of hit somewhere to cover TG at level 70.

He said he's going with fury because his raid doesn't have a feral druid. IMO, if you're without a feral druid, you WANT a fury war.
It won't be as much DPS, but now you're just like what Arms was in 2.4 -- utility class, little less dps but still competitive enough, and the 5% crit to the raid outweighs the personal loss in DPS. I'd skip TG unless you have a ton of hit rating and aren't sacraficing much.
If, OTOH, you don't care about the rest of your raid, or they don't NEED you to have rampage, I gotta agree that axe-arms is better.

Yeah ebs that was kinda my reasoning, we have little melee dps (10 man guild) so the 2% increase in arms wouldn't help that much either. And I'm assuming the 5% crit works for the casters/hunters too.

ah okay, well... fury gogo =P I'd go a variation of a 15/46/0 build rather than deep TG though, deep wounds is contributing a LOT of dps on the ptr and beta.
SO i'm leaning more towards your 16/45/0 > 0/53/8 but it'll be your call.

I realized I missed armored to the teeth - so here's my new plan for the deep wounds spec: http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warr...12253120501000
Also dropped anger management in favor of intensify rage, seems more deathwishes would be better than the extra rage

I'm doing a 12/49/0 spec. Raki - US Blackwing Lair Night Elf Mohawk!
Feels alright. Rage generation is doing pretty good.
TOTALLY pissed about Might not stacking with Battle Shout. And Leader of the Pack with Rampage.
WTB Old Rampage.

lol, for raid viability your new rampage is better, for personal dps if there is a feral, then yah old rampage was the better of the two, lol depends on what you have available to you.
12/49/0? I thought about that lycan, but i think you should try getting 15/46/0 deep wounds is rolling now, so it's not as useless as before, not to mention it actually contributes a lot to dps now, I know for arms warriors deep wounds was contributing close to 1/3 of their dps, and yes they have bleed talents and big two handers, but I have to believe that for dw fury we're gonna see something along the lines of 15% of our dps coming from it since it rolls.
