I'll have to agree with most of what's said here, being 80 and in beta, alot of the glyph's are pretty lackluster, like Tony said. The rend glyph is pretty nice if you're arms spec, gives ya an extra change for Taste of Blood Proc, so is the MS glyph, as far as the rest go, they are pretty crappy as far as fury is concerned. I mean, the Battle Shout glyph is nice, but it's only 3 mins instead of 2, and you'd have to spec into it and get it up to 5 mins, which is alot nicer, but I shouldnt have to spec to get something other classes have far superior of.

As far as the HS/Slam debate, in the few tests I've run, I've always found that the Bloodsurge Procc'd Slams are pretty much the only slams I use, and they still come out higher than if I were to do slam regularly, and even far better than HS, since Bloodsurge Slams dont delay the swing timer any since they are instant.

Granted alot of the tests we run now and such, are purely speculative, since we wont really have any good hard numbers until we're 80 and everything has gone Live. I will agree though, TG in it's current state is hard to overcome and still keep other DPS numbers high. I'm currently about 310 HR on beta, which is less than half to make up the penalty, but my crit especially is on the low end (25%), which sucks cause I've had to stack so much hit, and most gear with hit on it, is pure hit, atleast at 80. It has a bunch of hit, bunch of str and sta, but no other stat backings.

Like I said though, hopefully things will change before release, and we wont be looking at such an astronomical HR needed and we'll be able to kind of even things out and find the sweet spot.

Can't really add anything that's not already been said here: WotLK Beta (US-English) Forums -> DPS warriors a 25man Raid Perspective

Something has to change. I really don't agree at all with the homogenization direction Blizzard is going with the game, handing out our abilities to other classes (or giving us a redundant "buff") while we still keep all of our penalties, but apparently Warriors have to have a "counterbalance" attatched to everything good. This is a pre TBC mentality that doesn't fit the current or upcoming game setting.
Yeah I read that thread and the thread pretty much has made my decision nearly 90% that I may go death knight come the expansion because it really seems to be more fitting for my choices in the game.

Well, unless something extreme happens, this is it for me, I think. I've done most of the tests and a lot of others did as well and they just don't seem to be listening. I'm carefully watching the DPS Warrior Fury thread on the beta and if changes are put in that I'm not content with, it's over.
