I'm currently working on a protection paladin and i seem to of hit a wall
You see the thing is I'm trying to get raiding on it but I always seem to be turned away from all the groups raiding, Saying my Hp isnt enough or my gear isnt fine.

I have pretty much gotten all i can from heroics from what i can see so why am i always being turned down, surely the gear is fine to start

i cannot get in a guild on my server as none seem to want paladin tanks,
and as for pugging well like i said no sooner im in the group imout again.

So here i am asking for any advice you can give me to get my stats to there liking and start upgrading

Your gear is fairly good, actually. You could probably manage TotC 10.

There is a little work, though, that you could do on your gear, which is probably making people reluctant to include you:

1) Ditch the green libram. Really with all the librams sitting at the badge vendors, there's no excuse for that one, and lots of people who armory you or inspect your gear will see that green and turn you down. Get one of the badge ones, Libram of Defiance or Libram of Valiance, preferably. If you can't swing that, get one of the other badge librams for tanking.

2) Upgrade your gems to epic. The absolute easiest way to get epic gems without paying badges, gold, relying on professions or guildies (although any of those options are fine if available to you) is to go turn in your stonekeeper shards for Wintergrasp Commendations, then head to Stormwind's Hall of Champions and buy uncut gems for 10k honor each. Then go find a JC to cut them for you.

3) Get your mining skill up! You'll get a 60 stam boost just from leveling your mining. Consider dropping skinning for blacksmithing or jewelcrafting, either one will also give you access to more stam via additional sockets you can put in your gear, or higher quality stam gems.

Everything Bashal said is important. I started doing totc 10 w slightly better gear. Other than the 60 extra stam from leveling mining, you can use the pvp shoulder enchant Greater Inscription of the Gladiator (+30 stam +15 resilience) instead of the hodir shoulder enchant. I don't know where the vendor is on alliance side but it should be the same place where you can buy gems for honor. And you can use heavy borean armor kit (+18 stam) for gloves if you don't need the extra threat from Armsman.

Oh! Don't forget that if you use honor to buy gems, you can't have more than 75k honor at a time... spend the honor before you consume more wintergrasp commendations, or they will be wasted.

Ive decided to change my old legs to Wyrmguard Legplates - Item - World of Warcraft

i was wondering the best way to gem them, i am currently def capped so is it worth putting in 2 +24 stam gems and forsaking the bonus or should i gem for the bonus
if so could you suggest the best gems please

Just my two cents here, your gear looks good although ToC 10 looks like it will be one of the harder raids for you. That is one where people are more picky about their tanks, and wow-heroes has that as the toughest instance you can handle. Uld 10 / Ony 10 look like they are right up your alley. Keep farming H ToC for the shoulders and that'll help you out a bit as well. Your gear score will jump up roughly 140 points replacing your libram and shoulders so that helps. A lot of people start looking at gear score when you are getting into ToC. I have to agree with the above posts when it comes to your gems as well. As a tank you don't want to go cheap on gems, especially if it's your stamina. As it stands you are sittin at +120 stamina from those gems...swapping them out for 30 stams will put you at +150 stamina.

I saw that nobody mentioned your spec, which for the most part you have the right idea, but my personal experience I would change just a couple of things. First...remove the points from Seals of the Pure...you have the 2 piece t8 bonus, your seals do enough damage, and your glyph provides you with the expertise so threat shouldn't be a problem. If it is then you need to consider your rotation. (Standard 9/6/9) rotation works wonders for us pallies. I would also remove the 2 points you have into improved hammer of the justice...it's ok for heroics (i guess?) but it also wastes a global cooldown where you should be using your rotation to keep maximum threat. Toss 1 point into spiritual attunement, just because it will help out with the mana you gain from heals. With this you should still have 6 extra points, that I would personally put into Pursuit of Justice (for the disarm duration reduction) OR vindication...that debuff is nice when you taking on physical bosses...and then crusade...extra damage is never frowned upon as it adds to your threat.

Also, as mentioned above...leveling your mining gives you you +60 to stamina, and if you do blacksmithing to 400, you can add 2 extra sockets, to give another additional 60 to stamina...that's another 1200+ health you could have with those two alone. Looking good though....and don't feel bad, I've been turned down from tanking Naxx 25 with my current gear. Some people are just retarded, tanking is 40% gear and 100% skill.
