Answered: Fury warrior low dps

Hello, This is my first post. I am fairly new to the game. I have learned the basic rotation wasnt really that hard to figure out. But I seem to be having trouble with low dps. I've asked around and I have got my hit to where it should be. As you can probably tell by the gems and enchants I've been working on expertise.

One thing tho. is wow armory is off on my stats. My strength is 1507, My damage is 1504-1789, Speed is 3.30/3.21, my power in game with no buffs is 3933 and my crit is 31.34%

I get between 1.9-2k on heroic training dummy. I did recently add the expertise gems and enchants. So I'm waiting to raid to see if there is a difference. But running gundrak i only pulled 2.4k dps. Anything you can see I have wrong here? Any help will be greaty appreciated.

Thanks in advance....

Dude you got like 2 Enchants on your whole gear. Get your enchants, it will improve your DPS. Your specc and glyphs are not good. Imp. Intercept does not improve your DPS.

Specc & Glyphs:
I would recommend using this specc with these glyphs:

Do not ever, never use Execute as a Fury!

Gear:
It seems you're low on expertise. Find a blacksmith who can build you Belt of the Titans - Item - World of Warcraft. It's a great belt and would be a huge upgrade for you!

Enchants:
Arcanum of Torment - Item - World of Warcraft on head
Greater Inscription of the Axe - Item - World of Warcraft on shoulders
+10 stats on chest
+22 Agi on cloak
+50 AP on wrist
+44 AP on glove
+32 AP on boots
Berserker on both weapons

You are still at early level of gearing. Fury is not that good of a performer at that gearing level. Other than that you are doing great and on the right track.

One thing is you practically have no enchants on your gear, PERIOD. Weapons, helm, cloak, chest, boots all needs enchants that will improved dps a bit for sure.

One more thing I can suggest is to use you cooldowns, deathwish + recklessness judiciously and carefully and that can help a lot. Also dummy dps means nothing as fury, raid buffs scale you way too much.

as said above, enchants are huge and raid buffs are huge.

Expertise cap for dodges is 6.4%, which is 26 expertise, ya don't hit ya don't do any damage. Get that any way you can, gem for it if you have too to hit that cap. Everything else looks good. Keep pluggin at it! :P

Boy i really messed something up now i think. Please someone tell me what I've done wrong. My dps is just too low even for normal instances. Here is a screenshot of my stats. My expertise is up because i used an expertise potion. I didnt want to take it off cuz I still have some time on it. But the rest is without buffs.

To cap expertise, you can use your professions. I'm a blacksmith and having two extra gem sockets help me cap expertise and hit. However, I believe Jewelcrafting is better as they can make JC only +34 gems and is more profitable than BS. Your skinning and herbalism are low level anyway so drop them and pick up mining and JC.

Ok so. I have another question. whats the hit cap for fury warrior. I thought it was like 8%. I seen in another fury warrior thread in this section it says hit is 164 which is not 8%. I'm confused because If i dont need the hit i have to be above 8% then i can put something else in place to maybe do more dps.
And another thing with my gear how much dps ~ should i do in lets say 10 man ony? i need some kind of base to go on.

Hitcap is 8% (for almost every melee). As a Fury you will specc 3 points into Precision. This talent will give you 1% hit for every point = 3% hit.

So as a Fury you only need 5% hit from your gear:

5% gear hit + 3% talent hit = 8% hit

At 8% that's 263 hit rating. But as Fudd pointed out you need 5% with the Precision talent, so you need 164 hit rating.

But as everyone else has been saying, you're on the right track. Just need enchants and better gem choices. You'll see more of a return if you put +strength gems in place of those +to all stat gems.

This has become a nightmare. It seems there is no way im going to reach cap for expertise. i could gem every socket i have with +20 expertise and still not be at cap.
