Unanswered: Low EH? Switch from frost to blood for H tanking?

Hi all, new tank, DK here (armory), just got spanked by Xevozz in H VH. (First H I've tanked since the 3.1.3 FP nerf).

3 wipes w/ me tanking in cookie-cutter Frost build, then switched to my Blood off-spec to dps so another DK could try, but he was epic'd out in pvp gear and didn't make it either.

Then some confusion right b/f our next attempt began about who was tanking led to me getting quickly shoved back into the role with no time to switch back to my Frost tank spec, and doing it in my Blood build. I was sure no way, but we actually managed to down Xevozz that time.

I credit it to 1) figuring out the fight and kiting him correctly, 2) a good healer, and 3) to Blood's self-healing. I was DS's and Rune-Tapping every chance I got, and that seemed to increase my effective health significantly and ease the load on the healer. Blood Fury + Hysteria + DRW + Death Strike + RT even saved a wipe once during that last fight.

So I'm wondering now if perhaps I should switch my tank spec to Blood, at least until I can get my EH, mitigation, and avoidance up more. Currently I'm at about (unbuffed):

556def
22k health
24k armor
18.21% dodge (20% w/ Horn of Winter)
14.43% parry (~15% w/ HoW)

I thought 535 def, 35% avoidance, and 25k health is the goal for tanking heroics comfortably.

Thoughts, advice? Appreciate anything.
