Unanswered: So I'm Geared... Am I Balanced?

My Armory

Just by looking at that, is easy to tell I myself am geared. But im not convinced I'm balancing my stats to there fullest, by that, I mean im also sitting on:

Heroes' Dreadnaught Helmet
Medallion of the Disgraced
Shadow of the Ghoul
Royal Crest of Lordaeron
Ancient Aligned Girdle
Legplates of Inescapable Death
Deflection Band
Titanium Earthguard Ring
Essence of Gossamer
Red Sword of Courage
Torment of the Banished - Technically a DPS item... I "can" spare teh def of a tanking sword and still stay uncritable. Is the slow speed worth it? With a deep wounds spec of corse.

Of the items I have at my disposal, would anyone suggest doing any different?
Am I gemming correctly. I notice a lot of higher end tanks gemming as I do, but am I at a high enough gear level, to start gemming for expertise in red as I have done, instead of dodge?

Side Notes: Eh, my sword could have a better enchant on it... Maybe... But I acant bring myself to cover my sword in a bunch of green uglyness. And my specs a little different then some, but I myself just dont be seeing the same results from the 15/5/51 spec I see thrown aroudn every site i visit.

Your gear looks nicely balanced. I would keep on going with sta gems in every blue socket and exp+sta in red. You could go with anything in the yellow one but I just throw in def+sta or def to keep me above 540, sta+hit or hit would work also if you dont have to worry about defence. I usualy try and keep the color bonus since it is nearly always worth it.

In my opinion I would try to have Essence of Gossamer on you if you can spare swaping the defence trinq. 1000+hp from it makes it my ideal setup with an avoidance trinq / tps trinq.

And I would stick with your current MH. Although the dps sword has higher dps, it would lower your tps from HS since you would be spamming it at 2.6 rather then 1.5. And Deep Wound has no extra threat on it, it just has the dmg threat.

I also dont belive in the DeepWound spec. I don't see myself critting every 4sec to keep that dot up to make it worth it in the long run. But thats just my opinion.

Would not agree with that. With EoG you would be sitting on 28'ish k health with no profession to boost your hp or racial. That's decent enough at your gear lvl.

having no profession or racial is all the more reason to use EoG. Health is a very important tanking stat.

theres a reason most people in 25 man gear are hitting 30k unbuffed if not higher ... i would aim for 28-29k

Mmm, almost forgot I had posted here... >.<

Threw on EoG, over my badge trinket. Its how I would normally run really, its just that in 10-mans which I normally run during the week, 28k health seemed a tad wasteful.

To add to the list of gear I have, I do also have my T7 chest. Not sure if anyone had looked before or after i got the one from sapphiron or not during the first glance... Lost a heap of block, nearly hte same dodge - parry. But gained 4 levels of expertise... Fairly sure it was a good trade off.
