Unanswered: Getting ready for Naxx

The World of Warcraft Armory

So that's me, minus the shoulders (was in Block value set and forgot to change to the Recon shoulders, wtb different shoulder icon).

I'm kinda light on the enchants. Got the mats for Armsman (I got the gloves 1 hour ago) and still need to decide on something for the bracers.

Anyways, that should be good for naxx right? But earlier today I got booted from a raid for being too 'spikey' damage intake-wise. This was on Anub'rekan after position him and before the locus swarm. I figured the raid bosses just hit that much harder when a blow sneaks by. But was that a valid complaint? Is there something else I could be doing to gear up for Naxx?

If you can't tell by the gear I've just about been exclusively tanking heroics up until now

Edit: The OCD in me logged in and changed my shoulders. I should add I have Crusader's Square Pauldrons - Item - World of Warcraft, Sun-Emblazoned Chestplate - Item - World of Warcraft and Ziggurat Imprinted Chestguard - Item - World of Warcraft in my bank.

You're 100% ready for Naxx 10. I might suggest switching the meta out of your helm for the Austere Earthseige, but that's more of a personal choice, I guess. I'm not a huge fan of str/stam perfects when you could get exp/stam opals, but again, personal pref.

If I can get the Ground Tremor helm, I'll slap the 5% bv meta in there and regem ASH with the 2% armor meta. Maybe I'll regem first, since heroic threat really isn't a problem.

What about the healer complaints about spikiness? It was a pally and druid healer if that makes a difference. I've raided about a dozen times towards the end of TBC and I remember boss hits taking off half my life being the norm. Even some heroic bossees did that (Lt. Drake comes to mind).

Is that still the norm, or is there something odd that I'm doing gear or playwise that's contributing to a spiky damage intake?
