Wrath of the Lich King Direct Download (WoW-US)
Well, I guess the reports of it not being available for download before launch were false. It looks like there's a download EXE available from the World of Warcraft website to download Wrath of the Lich King now!
To install, download the file and then select World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King as the version you would like to install. World of Warcraft - 404 File Not Found | http://mediabeta.curse.com/GameClients/InstallWoW.exe
Note: This upgrades Live 3.0.3 to Wrath of the Lich King's 3.0.3.
Wrath Account Upgrade (US & EU)

Blue Posts Not many so far today since the WoW site has been down for a while due to the extended maintenance. Check out the earlier news for more posts.
Northrend launches at 9PM PST TOMMORROW NIGHT!
The expansion content will be fully accessible by 9 pm pacific time tomorrow night.
I confirmed that the Wrath of the Lich King content will be made available at midnight east coast time.
I also feel it's unfair that east coasters get to watch The Daily Show every night before I do, but apparently psychics and astronomy are not on my side.

| If you want to run home from the store and just have to put in your key then yes it is.
On a side note, I'm not sure that it would work today and tomorrow if you did.
I have two wow folders on my computer. One with my Interface/settings and one with my brothers. I'll just update my brothers, then on Thursday I'll delete mine, and copy/paste my brothers and make it mine.

I just started it, it's not quick. It has 1.9GB to download, then it has to install.

i got about 1/2 way through the 1st screen and it crashed now im getting spammed with
"failed to read the information from the internet. please close all applications and try again."

None of the WoW pages work for me. I'll just wait until my copy gets here. Maybe I'll even be able to play again then (though I doubt it).

I used the non-curse download and I'm 70% through it. Maybe try that one instead of the curse one.

That's the one I tried. I trust Curse about as far as I can throw it. I can't even read the forums - "Service Temporarily Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later." If they can't even keep their website going, maybe I'll just save the money and wait a couple months on Lich King.

wow site just came up
even using that one people who didnt DL the curse one earlier are all getting that error
anyone who started it previously like blood however before the site went down are not having any problems

Ouch, that stinks for you guys. Hopefully it will work tomorrow again once they finish all of this maintenance.
