If this guy messes with me again today, the gloves are coming off and my spies are going in to see what's up with him. His last three attacks have netted him a total of 10 gold, so I think he got the idea. I've got 8 phalanx units on standby in my town. He's been hitting me with ~378 attack power though. My phalanx would have enough even with the crappy wall to beat him back, but then my capital is undefended :x

Heh, it's a vineyard war going on right now... and boy do I got a surprise for him if he tries anything again x)
Update: mcsalno attacked me with 10 swordsmen, 6 phalanx, and 1 ram for a grand total of 1g loot, lol. Also, he's trying to blockade me, lawl.

Well due to no response I chose to expand to a wine/wood island very close by. Expansion should be finished in teh next 3 hours. What is necessary to create a 3rd colony? I am guessing stage 2 palace? I would like to get a colony on a sulfur Island also nearby. If I had to buy nothing but crystal I would be a very happy mammal.

Size 2 palace, and to remove corruption, you also need size 2 governors mansions in both colonies...which results in about 20,000wood and about 2000 marble...not to mention level 4 warehouses in each to handle the wood....AND the extra 12000g and 1250wood to start PLUS the 500+ wood/100+marble it takes to build the governors mansion in the first place...
Needless to say, its expensive... i am JUST getting mine up to date in the next hour... you can make the colony without upgrading the govenors mansions, but you have about 33% corruption in each. I updated the one in my established colony to 2, then made my new colony and upgraded it to 1 asap..then i left all my citizens idle to get gold in that colony since it is not affected by corruption and sent wood from my other cities to build everything up.
Hope that makes sense and I am not rambling too much

Well I am 1hr 45min from my first expansion...can someone please tell me what exactly I will have once it is set up? I know I will have 40 people to work with...do I get anything else other than 1 building and 40 people to start harvesting with? Am I immediately at square 1 and racing to get everything built a 2nd time?

You get 40 people and 1 townhall. Welcome to square one, with a feeder town to send material to yourself The first thing I recommend doing is sending 500wood and however much marble it takes to build a govenors mansion...and send that to yourself first and get it built asap...dont send any of your citizens in the new colony to collect whatever "wealth" resource you have on the island or to gather building materials..they will be working at half efficiency..aka 2 citizens per 1 wood per hour and 4 citizens per 1 "wealth resource" per hour. Same with research points for that colony. Corruption is the devil....

Yeah, thinking tavern as soon as I stomp out corruption, need to farm up as much wine as I can get my hands on and I have never had more than 6.5 growth klorry, you win again.

Due to my stupidity aka not validating my email, my account never was created at all and as soon as I closed my window, thinking that would be the reason people could not see me, it turns out that my little town was not even in the system anymore. I'll try to keep up with the applications but it takes longer and harder for me to come up with Alliance Diplomacy points to accept each of you.
Right now pending is Dygrav and Galushi who have app'd and waiting on my embassies to upgrade to give me more points to accept members.
If anyone has spare wine to send me who wants to have some crystal or marble (not currently but in the future i can send more, saving up for next expansion) let me know, I really need wine, i'm at th epoint where if i don't give them 8 wine an hour, they are unhappy O_o.

will probably be my next expo since the wine seems to be coming to me freely for trade within our alliance.
