I'm in game as Optimoos, home city Cybertron at 46:34. I need someone to trade for marble. Right now I have wood, in a few hours I'll begin collecting crystal. How do we set this up?

your best bet since you're not near any of us is to build a trading post and buying it for gold for now until you can expand to a marble island.
Well, SCT turned out to be venta, and well... we kinda played chicken with each other until he asked for a truce, so lift the attacks on venta and sct, now i'm gonna be sitting around with a HUGE gold sink in my towns, 13 phalanxes and 14 ballista ships... Sigh... time to just keep my citizens happy and wait till my population explodes

i posted this for all the guys who have joined the alliance already. If you need sulfur, I have a large over abundance of it. I will be willing to trade 1:1 ratio for either wine or glass (soon to not be wine once my colony gets on its feet and starts collecting full time ...stupid corruption >.>) Just hit me up with a message or something. I am at 59,37 and we can talk out an agreement. As it is right now, it may be a few days before I can get it to you seeing as how me and Muggsy seem to be eons away from everyone else in the world and my ships are continuously moving between my colonies >.> (again blaming Muggsy for making me colonize on a backwater island with a terribad quarry and lumber mill level!) but I will let you know when the soonest I can get the mats to you so we can set up the arrangement.

OK once I have diplomacy, lvl 6 townhouse, lvl 3 warehouse and tavern and wall and garrison, is there anything else preventing me from building a palace? And can someone give me an idea of what the necessary materials will be to build such a palace?

| I'm not sure of the research orders just yet, but the last thing I researched before starting on my palace was "Expansion" - do you have it?
