I've seen all the talk around the changes and understand it, my question is does it actually provide any increased dmg reduction anymore, and if so does anyone have any proof?

The reason is I've still got mine in and if it's absolutely of no benefit anymore I might as well change it out.

It's useless for PvE once more (doesn't provide any benefit if you have defense rating). Unfortunately I don't have proof, but I'm sure it's somewhere, either on this site or on EJ.

Thanks, I just checked it out myself using lava dmg in blackrock mountain.
The dmg and reducing dmg ticked for exactly the same amount each time so no dmg variance.
Dmg: 572
With IBF: 332
% reduction: 42%

After swapping out the IBF glyph the results were identical.

Well, it's useless for pve tanks once more. As the wording suggests it was never intended to work for tanks, it was merely meant to make a higher baseline for people who wouldn't have the defense to bring it up but want the extra protection (pvp).
