Damage reduction talent mechanics

Started tanking a bit on my paladin lately and was wondering how the damage reduction from my talents, glyphs and armor were calculated.
I have a 6% damage reduction from Imp. Righteous Fury, 3% from Sanctuary, 3% from Shield of the Templar and 3% from Glyph of Divine Plea. Does all these stack and give a total of 15% damage reduction or are they added one by one for a total ~14,2% damage reduction?
And how does the damage reduction from armor figure into this?

Thanks for any help

damage = damage_unmitigated*(1-DR_armor)*(1-DR_RF)*(1-DR_BoSanc)*(1-DR_SotT)*(1-DR_DP)

OR

damage = damage_unmitigated*(1-DR_armor)*(1-0.142)

It is essentially your latter explanation (adding one at a time), though in reality, all they are doing is multiplying them together (after subtracting each from 1)

So for DKs:
60% from armor just for calculation's sake
5% frost presence
2% improved frost presence
5% blade barrier
and 20% icebound fortitude for the heck of it

= .4*.95*.98*.8 = .29792 ~ 70% mitigation?

Yeah, but if you're a tank, you're really getting around 45% from IBF, because of the defense bonus. And of course, armor is not really "damage mitigation" its more like "physical damage mitigation".

Edit: It's 0.93 (5%+2% for FP), not 0.98

The thing to remember is that everything is multiplicative now.

Ok, I was wondering about this.

No wonder IBF is getting nerfed...I'm still realizing just how good it is.

It's frost presence that's getting nerfed, not IBF.

Derr....me smart.

Having an 80 warrior tank and an 80 DK tank...is like...shield block supposed to in some way be comparable to icebound fortitude?

I mean...41% damage reduction for 18 seconds of every minute, or a doubled chance to block ~4000 10 seconds of every 40. Hmm........
