Do you mean for threat?
If so, then:
1. Accuracy
2. Weapon Chain
3. Potency (20 STR -- old TBC enchant)
4. Everything else ***
*** Technically Beserking has the most DPS/TPS, but comes at a cost of armor, so it really isn't good for tanking.

Hey I have a qeustion about threat. Currently it seems to be my problem(at least I think so.) 25 man trash I pull around 3k-4.3k TPS sometimes dipping a little below 3k. On boss fights its around 4k-6k TPS. I have my 9696 rotation down. I am wondering how important hit rating is to adding threat as I have 5 +16 hit gems. Im currently at around 6.5% melee hit rating. If it is trivial I would like to add maybe some 8defens 12 stam gems. Also I am wondering how effective reckoning is compared to "Seals of the pure" for extra Vengeance damage, possibly adding threat? This is the link to my armory The World of Warcraft Armory | Hello m8, our gears are almost same and I do not have a problem generating or holding aggro. SoV is best u can use while tanking as admins suggested here. Got 24 stamina for blue ( if u def capped ofc), 8 dodge 12 stamina or 8 str 12 stamina for red, 8 def 12 stamina for yellow. frankly as a paladin, ppl wont pick u as MT all the time, u'r lucky if u are one . Since there is nothing rly except divine protection and trinkets to protect u form ulduar bosses and u'll need overheal alot. Btw dont u hate when u block 2k of coming 20k damage, like its gonna change anything . Cant we just block all coming damage so we hold our shield for more honorable job =)

This is the link to my armory The World of Warcraft Armory | Hey there! I'm currently MT for my guild and I'm a paladin too. Your threat generation shouldn't be too detrimental as I pull similar (slightly more) on raid bosses. If you're looking for extra threat boosts, try removing points from [Retribution = Benediction] and putting it into [Retribution = Heart of the Crusader and Conviction] as crits help alot too, but don't set your heart on it. Instead of Glyph of Spiritual Attunement, pick up Glyph of Divine Plea (Much more effective than benediction or Glyph of SA).
If you're having too much trouble on threat.. Hotkey Hand of Salvation :P
Cheerio,
Dora

Well as a note, if you are having threat problems, Heart of the Crusader isn't the talent to get. It will either be a wash or a decrease in relative threat, depending upon the group. Remember that both you and the rest of the raid get the crit, and some classes get more "threat" out of the crit that you do.

Any news on at which point SoR overtakes SoV for threat gen? If it's true that this will eventually occur, it would be useful to know more specifics, as i've generally prefered using SoR over vengeance in the past, if only for the instant damage on a previously untanked mob it can provide. But this might be my non-SoV horde tanking days now hindering my techniques.
Also, i'm having some confusion about hand of reckoning which may simply be caused by normal tanking mechanics. I was under the belief that a taunt placed you at 110% of your targets targets current threat for the duration of the taunt buff, then returning you to your current threat level or 100% of your targets targets threat at the time it was cast based on which is higher. I've never fully understood how this works as all I had to go on was my not commonly used RD and Omen, which showed no change in threat. It was infuriating for DPS to not see me on omen as I had invisibly leapfrogged another tank. Though not entirely appropriate for this thread, clarification from people who clearly know what their on about would be much appreciated.

I don't think current SoR will ever overtake SoV in it's current form. SoB though with enough expertise/hit can overtake SoV eventually.

I have a level 80 Prot Paladin. I was wondering what should i try to gem for? Most people say stam others say dodge and stuff. I was wondering if anyone had some info to help me out. Also which enchants are better for me like Cloak, Shield, Chest, Boot's stuff like that. Thank you.

i was talking with a fellow pally tank today and he was telling me he stacks block rating and value and generates more threat then a normal pally (who stacks sta, dodge, parry etc.). i want to know if he is right (if so, how is it possible).

However, gearing for block value means you die easier than if you had gone with stam and dodge/parry. It's a tradeoff.
Block rating does almost nothing for out threat though.

Righteous Fury does affect retribution aura threat yes. Retribution aura is the only aura that provides additional threat, but it won't be a whole lot on bosses. It is more suited for AoE style encounters.
As a note, retribution paladins can talent extra damage into all their auras, which is essentially the same thing as adding more threat, so if you have a ret paladin in your raid, any of their auras will increase your damage/threat.

Far below these. SP is one of our lower threat stats. Not the lowest, but pretty low.

Just adding info from another post to keep in here as a reference:
As a matter of fact, apparently, when they fixed JoL, the also fixed JoW. I just went live and tested it and JoW provides 0 threat now for the mana gains.
Over the course of 9 seconds:
Threat=0.00
Judgement: 815 dmg
melee: 968 dmg
melee: 843 dmg
88 mana from JoW
melee: 401 dmg
88 mana from JoW
Threat = 3027.00
Just adding up the damage and ignoring the mana gains for a second:
815+968+843+401 = 3027.
I waited after that last mana proc for 17 seconds so the threat API was at steady state.
JoW now returns no threat for mana gains.
So it doesn't matter which judgment you pick. Neither affect your threat differently.
EDIT: Screenshot
You can also see that SoJ stuns generate no threat. | |

Another question whats the best seal to use for the most threat possible ? | Jay, right now, since our threat is based off of damage, i would say pulling trash mobs and using SoR for very quick fights. Im not sure if the Extra hits from HoR also deals the extra holy damage to the mobs.
For longer boss fights use SoV as you will do alot more damage in the long run with SoV because it has time to stack up. Please anybody correct me if I am wrong here.
