Of raid timers and resets (very basic Q)

Hi,

I'm finally ready to get into Kara, and have a query regarding resets.

As I understand, Kara's reset timer is still 7 days, resetting early Tuesday morning: Raid timer - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft and Raid Dungeons - Karazhan

So, if I pug Kara on Tuesday night and run a full clear, does that mean I am entirely locked out of Kara for a week?

Thanks!

You are correct. In the case of Karazhan, you are saved to a specific raid id as soon as you kill a boss or "zone in" to an instance of Karazhan in which a boss has been killed. This raid ID will reset early Tuesday morning of the following week.

/ quickly flips through the calendar

So, 3 Kara resets remaining pre x-pac. Meaning, if I can sneak in tonight, that's 4 runs available in total.

Thanks for the quick reply, mero!
