Paladin tank on Alythess?

So, my guild just got to Twins post patch (pre-3.0 progression got to 14% on Felmyst). Spent one night on them on Friday and got into Phase two three times including one pull that should of been a kill (23 alive). We noticed our lock tank's threat was pretty low...myself, our paladin who was the other tank on Sacrolash, and several of our dps could and did pull, as we weren't expecting to have to watch threat. For reference, he was at about 60k threat when we killed Sacrolash after the fourth conflag. We pulled her at about 50% and wiped sub 10%.

Now, obviously we should be able to get them down with the same strategy, just minding threat better in phase two. However, with locks no longer having the ability to drop salvation and thus have an advantage over the rest of the raid, and the insane threat gen of the tank classes....would using a paladin tank on Alythess be viable? They can be in for a couple fireballs, then use avengers shield, judgments, holy wrath, and exorcism at range. I'd imagine that could be well over 60k threat after four conflags (around two minutes).

Thoughts?

You can just pull aggro off your warlock in phase 2 and continue his job. I did it, as a warrior. You don't need to be on Alythess full time, even phase 1, if you could be tanking Sacrolash instead. (3 tanks is really the safest for Sacrolash)

Yeah, I'd suggest just ripping it out him as a planned and announced strat, and continueing his job until the kill.
