How do you kill Netherspite?

I am new to all sorts of raids. My guild just started to raid Kara awhile ago, and we are having problems killing Netherspite. I read some posts in the forums, but i don't understand. Can anyone teaches me how to kill netherspite and how to tank the beams? What do you mean dancing?

There are 3 beams. The red beam, the blue beam, and the green beam
The red beam is (I think) most important. For the first phase, MT will stand in the red beam for 5 seconds, get out for 5 seconds, go back in for 5 seconds, come out for 5 seconds etc. The 2nd phase the MT will have a debuff that says he can't do the red again so the OT will have to do it. Same tactic, 5 in 5 out.
The blue beam should be taken by 2 dps classes per phase. After the first beam tanker gets 30 stacks of the buff on him the second dps class should move in and take it till the end of the phase. Next phase 2 other dps classes should take over.
The green beam should be taken by melee, because the green beam's debuff reduces mana. Just stand in it the whole fight.

This is how I've done it every time.
Make sure your beams are covered or you can't kill him.

Pull him a bit left or right of the entrance, tank him just in front of the large round platform.

First portal phase:
Tank A in red beam, dancing in and out. When I did it, I used 3 styles in the beam, strafed out, 3 styles, back in ... etc.
Tank B or any non mana class in green beam for the whole phase.
Assign two alternating teams of two DDs for the blue beam. When DD A gets to about 25-30 stacks of the debuff switch to DD B.
First banish phase:
You can try and avoid the breath DPSing him, or have everyone simply run to the "long" corner of the room.
Second portal phase:
Tank B in red beam, dancing in and out.
Tank A or any non mana class without debuff in green beam.
Second DD team tanks the blue beam.
Second banish:
Same as before.
Repeat.

That a short description of how we did it most of the time.

Both exactly same as we do.

Portal stage 1:
Tank A in red beam - dancing is the fact that they stay in red beam for 5 seconds, then strafe left !! without moving netherspite !! to get out of the beam for 5 seconds.
Tank B in green beam the entire time - do not move out of it!
DPS1&2 take the blue beam, 30 stacks each.

Banish 1:
If you are well geared then try and do more dps but watch agro,
If you are not well geared run for a corner to avoid breaths

Portal 2:
Tank B takes red (dancing)
Tank A takes green
DPS3&4 takes blue beam 30 stacks

Repeat

Great for you =D However for guilds 'just starting' kara they probably wont be able to do that so better that they understand how to rotate people.

This was one of the first fights in kara that we came upon that really required almost everyone to understand the fight properly and move as a raid rather than just the tanks and healers knowing what to do and dps just fire and watch omen.

I normally use 2 tanks, each phase 1 tank takes red beam, just dance in and out of the beam to not stack up the debuff too fast.

rotate dps'ers

the tanks when not in red beam are in green beam, just... sitting there and dps'ing... no mana = no worries for tanks (i guess except paladins =()

if I know my dps and healers are good, we don't run during banish phase, we just keep running through him to make him unable to cast netherbreath, if my dps and healers are kinda slow, I tell them to run to the wall to buy healers time.

I won't repeat what was said already, but i would add that a Lock can take a blue beam an entire phase by drain life spamming, a shadow priest can take it an entire phase as well, but the priest will need to be healed.

Both of these classes will require less healing from your healers than any other dps class.

If the MT stays in then gradually his HP will reduce to a point where he will be easily 1 shotted - however if you are killing NS before the end of 1 beam phase then obviously it doesnt matter, description of red beam is:

Damage taken is reduced by 1% per tick.
Defense rating is increased by 5 per tick.
Health is modified - the first application adds 31,000 to the player's maximum health, with additional stacks reducing maximum health by 1000 per stack

You could watch this, too. It's not the smoothest takedown, but it'll give you an idea of what everything can look like. These guys (Project Lore) have videos for each boss of Kara, and some WotLK stuff too.
