As soon as I finished with my Sartharion 3 drakes vid (Sarth25 + 3: A Tutorial By Jynxx) I started in on a Malygos one, and it's done now.


Same as before, this has diagrams, text, and voice narration to try to make the fight strategy clearer and help you avoid common problems and pitfalls:

The "Malygos in 5 Minutes" strat is *almost* done, but not quite ready yet. I'll just reply with a followup when it's done.

There are a few things you can take from the 5-minute strat and apply to a "normal" strat to make it faster and safer, and I included those in the video and the strategy page already.


I've gotten good feedback from a friend's guild that hadn't gotten Malygos down yet, so I hope it's helpful for any guilds either struggling to repeat a kill, or who haven't gotten their first kill yet. (Or anyone curious if there's a better way to do X)

There's more to doing Malygos in 5 minutes than just "stack as many sparks as you can and hope" (in fact, you explicitly do *not* want to stack as many sparks as you can.) How to do "You Don't Have An Eternity"....:

We found it far easier when we thought about the timing and realized we didn't just want to stack as many sparks as our raid could handle, there actually is a specific number you want to stack.
