So, the last guy in AN, killing him inside 2 min seems pretty hard at this stage.
Do people have thoughts on the matter?
He does leash.
At this stage my fastest kill has been around 4 min which was with reasonable geared players with a smattering of 25 man lewt.
Is this just a very high dps check or is there a gimmick?

Don't bring a real healer, bring a ret pally or dps shaman who can throw out the occasional heal to the tank while dpsing the rest of the time. Use consumables, and blow your cooldowns...and pray
It might help to have your tank wear a few pieces of dps gear to maximize your group's damage output.

There is apparently a trick where you put mind-numbing poison + curse of tongues on the boss, DPS him down to about 76-77% and wait for it to cast Locust Swarm or Pound. The boss will take 8-9 seconds to actually finish casting it, and hopefully you'll have enough time to burn it past a transition.

Ugh, this is my last achievement to complete for the mount. We haven't really done any serious attempts on him yet, so hopefully an afternoon with consumables and we'll get him. I don't want to wait for the patch.

So, you've got about 4.5 seconds for him to finish casting. This means you don't wait for 76-77% for him to start, you just go full burn and hope he casts at the right time. 100% luck.
We've gotten him below 50% on the first cast a few times, but have had bad luck with the second cast. Need to get another night in there to work on it. Source: Tyranid
How did you do Hadronox Denied? | It's painful. You're probably doing it right.

How did you do Hadronox Denied? | This is actually a rediculously simple achievement which my shadowpriest figured out the other day. If you bring a class that has a DoT of any kind it can be done with virtually no effort.
All you have to do is pull and kill the 3 groups before the boss and while working on the last group (when the boss just reaches the entrance to the main room) have the person in your group throw a DoT on him. It is very important that after that is done NOBODY touch the boss or go near him. What that does is it halts him in his place and keeps him from shooting the webs up and blocking the adds. It also prevents him from casting his leech poison (because he hasnt actually started combat with the party) and the adds just tear is face off in about 20 seconds.

How did you do Hadronox Denied? | Have a Hunter start the "gauntlet" with the three sections of three pulls, but right after he/she pulls the starter group Feign Death. The mobs will despawn and you can run right down to him at the bottom of the chamber.

For hadronox denied we used 2 tanks. We let our mage pull 1 pack and immediatly use invis. All mobs will despawn for enough time so you can run down to hardonox, without any mobs. One tank on hadronox, and the other on the ramp blocking the adds. We had it in 1 try.

i just pull him as he comes up, aoe taunt/SW, aoe burns the adds and we kill him, though yest all of a sudden, literally 50 more adds spawned after we killed the initial and started overwhelming us, prob a bug.
what are the submerge points/"safe zones". It feels like he's on a 75/50/25 submerge point, but are there safe zones btwn or is it literally just burn and hope you get lucky?

is it literally just burn and hope you get lucky? | This - at least as it stands now and you need to have some kind of debuff on him that increses casttime.
But that said, they fixed the debuff stacking, the DoTs don't tick undergroud anymore so it's next to impossible in it's current state.

he clears dots as he is submerging but you do have one gcd to re dot as he is submerging.

I did Hadronox Denied today and it was 100% luck, i got to him with a heroic throw before he spawned the second web on the gate and it counted =P.
You can despawn the adds, or you can pull both groups after the first pull before the gauntlet.
Still short around 1 minute with Gotta Go! 8(

| | | Gotta go solved?
For tanking the Gotta go achievement, I would like to try the 4 dps and this spec: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warrior/talents.html?tal=352003212303010500201203231251300 00000000000000000000000002335120000000000000000000 0
Tank in Defensive stance until about 80%, using revenge as your main threat ability (since the spec reduces it to a 1 sec CD).
At 80%, macro a 2h, switch to Battle stance and put up rend. When pound is cast, hit blade storm and move out of the pound cone while blade storming. Execute out of blade storm if sudden death procs off the rend.
Your deep wounds alone should do massive damage with your 25-30% crit, free rage, heroic strikes (revenge glyph), not to mention the 2% increased physical damage to the entire party.
GG imo... just gotta get a group together and give it a try.
