UI Help

Alright, My UI is ok, It gets the job done, but it could use something more, Not more stuff it seems a little to bulky and unappealing. I want something clean clear and definetly in order, It seems like I'm asking to much but I need suggestions (Tried Caith's UI Installation sucks I don't want to go through all that again)

That's it, so suggestions anyone?

Looks like you just have bartender?

Anyways some suggestions:

Make your micro menu, bags, and the bar with mounts/hearth etc fade out unless mouseover.

Center your bars on the screen and your abilities on the bars themselves.

I would suggest getting a unitframe addon and moving your frames over the action bars.

I would also suggest getting a mini-map addon and moving it down to the bottom right to keep the top portion of your screen clean.

Here's my take on this:

I'm not a fan of those huge Bartender/Dominos bulks of buttons, so I like to keep all my stuff in 2 lines of 10-12 buttons. There's always some stuff that is of low importance that you can keybind and then put into a hidden bar. One thing that really bums me out is that you have set the spacing between the bars and buttons kinda high, this gives it a weird look because you can see the game between the buttons and this is part of what makes this UI rather unappealing I think.

Like Bloodwraith I would hide all my menu and bags. Stuff like mounts all gets on a hidden bar too, I never click those, why have them eat up screen space. If you move the bag-bar to another spot too, it'd make some great space for Recount / Omen to the left of your bars or maybe some raid frames like Grid.

I would get a chat addon to remove the arrow things at the chat window, I would also lower the height of the chat until about 4-5 lines are visible, chat is rarely hectic and you can always scroll up. Also I love time stamps on my chat. Basically I would make the chat the same height my actionbars are and lower the chat to the same spot the bottom of the action bars are. This gives it a more aligned look and not like everything is just floating around on it's own. Adjust Omen/Recount/Raid Frames accordingly to that.

You could at this point use a Viewport addon to put a black bar at the bottom of the screen but if you are, like me, not a fan of those you can just leave everything like it is.
