Compiling a ui: From main computer to my laptop

As per the title, I have a slick ui I built myself on my main desktop, but I'd like to have access to it on my laptop as well.

Aside from screen resolution issues (which I can easily fix) is there any easy way to do this? I have a feeling that I'll just copy my Addons and WTF folders onto a flash drive and move them over, but I'm not very savvy with these kind of things.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When moving OS, this week to W7, i just copied my addons and WTF folders, works fine, dont see why moving them from desktop to laptop shud mess anything up, but yeah ur right just do what u originally thought :]

Haha thanks. How is w7 working out for you so far? I'm considering upgrading my desktop, along with some new hardware.

When moving from a Windows machine to another Windows machine, you can just copy over the entire World of Warcraft folder and it'll work fine. Of course this won't work if you go from Windows -> Mac or Mac -> Windows. In that case you just copy over the Interface and WTF folder and it'll work fine.

Keep in mind though that you'll probably need to turn down your graphics settings once it is on your laptop. I have a Windows 7 desktop (AMD Phenom II quad-core 3.0ghz w/ Radeon HD 4950) that is significantly beefier than my Macbook Pro (2.4ghz Core 2 Duo w/ Nvidia 8600M GT). My laptop definitely wasn't a big fan of Ultra graphics.

And Windows 7 is good. Get it. Still don't like it as much as Mac OS X, but huge improvement.

Well thanks to you both. Now I get to start looking into investing in some new stuff

And yes, I got everything transfered. I did turn my settings WAY down and everything is running just peachy. Sadly I think its running better than my main desktop. Of course my video card just started to die on that machine, so... Ugh.

Ah well. Like I said, time to look into new gear! Thanks again!
