So, I know I have a post on power auras, but honestly, I am beyond irked at the addon because sometimes it sort of works and other times (most of the time) not at all.

I am looking for an addon that will track my on use stacking buff trinkets (Binding light [Reg] and Meteorite Crystal). Preferably something straight forward and with a

My roommate has the second trinket, and I setup Power Auras for him to show the stacking buff. I haven't heard any complaints from him about it not working. So its strange that it doesn't work for you.

When I get home I'll ask him if it works and if so I'll post the settings I used.

Beyond that, the only thing I can think of is to use Satrina's Buff Frames to display the buff in a PowerAura-style.

I've deleted power auras off of my computer and am perfectly happy not using it again. It took me over a week to get it to show the trinket. It would never show the stacks AND time remaining. I spent hours picking guildies' brains and time on the plusheal and wowinterface forums. I have no urge to waste more of my time.

I use power auras for S&B + Taste for Blood and Execute proc on my warrior and then Rime and Killing Machine procs on my Death Knight. I can see the difficulty getting it to recognize the trinket but that is not the mods only use! Have faith!

It may not be the mods fault, but it isn't mine that I can't devote 24 hours of my time to trying to get it to work. So I'm done with it.

I would use Satrina's Buff Frames. Just create a new frame (I think that is what Satrina called them in the addon), then filter it down so only the buffs from those two trinkets are shown. Then you can customize that frame however you want.

Before I really learned how to use PowerAuras (because I found it extremely frustrating, like you did) I used SBF and then just made it look like PowerAuras. I eventually switched back to PowerAuras because I could use custom textures that I made myself.

From memory he already knows how to set up Power Auras, as do I. However I see to have had the same issues as Anaire, one minute it just stopped working and no matter what I did it refused to work again.

I'm not too sure how to create the filter for this however, which is my current issues. And at that would a filter be needed? If I select "Whitelist" (Show me nothing except what I say to) and then go to the names tab on top and enter the buff names..

Okay, so your correct about the Whitelist part.

Then you click the Filters tab and enter the following:

n=Escalation

Then hit the Add Filter button.

Then enter:

n=Meteoric Inspiration

And again hit the Add Filter button.

"n=" is just a shortcut for "name of buff equals".

Once you got the filters right you just have to setup the frame with the style you want.

If I remember right there is a Filter Help button that contains about 4 pages of help text. Or you can go to Satrina's website for help there. Evil Empire I believe is the address.
