Vuhdo Help!

I've been using Vuhdo for a while now and just recently with the new update from 1.199 to 1.202 I've been getting the following error and Vuhdo is no longer showing up.

Message: Interface\AddOns\VuhDo\VuhDoKeySetup.lua:218: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got string)

I contacted the developer about this issue and his response was: "I'm sorry, but your saved variables seem broken for some reason. I guess you'll have to run reset_vuhdo.bat in vuhdo addons folder. I'm sorry."

I did go into the Vuhdo folder and opened reset_vuhdo.bat, it opened a C prompt box and closed it again right after. I'm not entirely sure if that method isn't working or whether that actually reset Vuhdo. Either way the add-on still doesn't work and wondering if someone could help me out ^_^.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the add-on a few times as well as trying to revert back to the old 1.199 version with no luck. I hate to be dependent on add-ons but this is really one I can't be without.

Thanks in advance. =)

If you go to the start menu and open command prompt, then navigate to the folder that reset_vuhdo.bat is located in and run it that way the program should finish executing.

So if the reset_vuhdo.bat is located in your addons folder an example would be:

C:\documents and settings\administrator> cd C:
C:> cd program files
C:\program files> cd world of warcraft
C:\program files>world of warcraft> cd interface
C:\program files>world of warcraft\interface> cd addons
C:\program files>world of warcraft\interface\addons> cd vuhdo
C:\program files>world of warcraft\interface\addons\vuhdo> reset_vuhdo.bat

I probably messed up the command promp commands a little, but I hope that helps (you may be able to do it all in two lines:

Like cd C:\program files>world of warcraft\interface\addons\vuhdo then just reset_vuhdo.bat)

Mmmmm.... the .bat file is unnecessary.

I would just go in and delete the addon preferences yourself. Make sure you exit WoW before you do this though.

Check the following folders for anything that is related to VuhDo with a .lua or .bak extension.

Code:
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\youraccountname\SavedVariables

World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\youraccountname\servername\charactername\SavedVariables
If you find anything then delete those .lua or .bak files and restart WoW. If you don't find those files, then it isn't your preferences.

Oh, and don't delete ALL of your .lua and .bak files unless you want to spend some time re-setting up your addons. Just the VuhDo related files.

Alright, tried both...

First I went through the command prompt and it ended up deleting a file, the one I assume that contains preferences to the add-on. Tried running WoW and ended up with the same error.

Then I tried Helgi's approach, went in and deleted anything related to VuhDo but again still getting the error. However, when going through servername/charactername only 1 of my many toons appeared and it wasn't the one with the problem. I'm not sure if this helps or could be what the problem is.

Any other thoughts, suggestions?
