Dual screen addons

I recently acquired a second monitor and use it for WoW, putting most extras on one monitor and the action on the other. However, the actionbar across the bottom is split between the two screens, is there another addon aside from Bartender that will allow me to move it to one screen? Preferably one that allows me to still have the Totem bar.

Thanks!

Could you post a screeny of all this? Wouldn't mind seeing and trying it myself, got 2 screens myself, a 32" and a 24", dunno how well it would look through.

Uhh... Bartender?

Not having a Shaman I could care less about a Totem bar. However, my roommate does have a Shaman and I remember him complaining about the Totem bar not working on his Bartender. But this past weekend he downloaded a new version of Bartender and said it was working fine now.

My only other idea would be Dominos : WoWInterface Downloads : Action Bar Mods

But, in my opinion, Bartender is far better.

What I would recommend with a dual screen setup is to use a viewport addon to push all of the rendering to one screen, then have the other screen for stuff like chat, combat meters, omen, etc. There are a few addons that don't really like the dual screen rendering thing. Plus it is just annoying to split your character in half.

I did find how to make bartender work, thank god. Here's a screenshot of what I'm working with now. Any suggestions would be great for other addons though.

How do you set this up exactly? Would I have to set my monitors to 'stretch across both screens', that kinda sucks for everything outside of WoW . You found any way to get that option to autorun when WoW is on or something?

When I ran dual screen, my video card driver had an icon in the taskbar. All I had to do is deselect the stretch option and it changed back to the normal dual monitor setup. Then, before I started WoW, I just went in and checked the option again. Took like an extra 5 seconds.

What viewport addon did you use? I tried one and all it got was a squashed half screen when i tried to cut it down.

I actually used a script:
Code:
/script UIParent:ClearAllPoints();UIParent:SetPoint("TOPLEFT",0,0);UIParent:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",0,0);
Thats the basic script. Can't remember which values for the 0's I put in at the time.

My brother also had a dual screen setup and he used CT_Viewport. Not sure if it is still updated or works. He says he hasn't used dual screen since 2.1.

I edited the CBH_Viewport addon myself to do scaling on the left and right too instead of just the top and bottom. Not sure if that will work for dual monitors though. I can't give the edited addon to anyone though; I didn't get permission from the author as I only edited the code for my own personal use, so I can't release the code without permission from the original author.

CT_Viewport still works, that's exactly how I get it to work with dual screen. Raid icons were pushed off to the far left though so I think I used Xperl to get them over to the right screen.
