Charge/Intercept/Intervene Macro

I have charge/intercept binded on"f" key, using intercept when charge is on cooldown.

Is it possible to add intervene into this macro, so if my target is "friendly" he will cast intervene instead of charge/intervene?

Thanks for inputs

As long and you have the Warbringer talent you can use the following marco.

This macro allows you to charge, intercept if charge is on cool down and Intervene if you have a friendly targeted.

#showtooltip Charge
/castsequence [harm] reset=15 Charge, Intercept; [help] Intervene;

I tried this just without the castsequence, but why would you need a castsequence? does that mean it will try charge then give you an error its on CD then hit it again to intercept?

when i tried with just /cast it would not intercept

*Edit* interesting, if you put the reset as your charge cooldown timer it should work just fine actually. Will try tonight. Thanks grido

[help] Intervene only works in you target a party member, it does not calculate the target of target like it would if you cast the spell on its own.

[harm] reset=15 Charge, Intercept; works well for me. The tool tip looks like they are on cool down but it still works. I can tell I am using Intercept because the range is shorter.

/castsequence [harm] reset=15 Charge, Intercept; [help] Intervene;
when targeting a party member and trying to intervene via macro its saying "Invalid Target" O_o but there is no typo in my macro, isn't it?

The semi-colon on the end of this macro is what throws it off if I recall.

Are you cut-pasting it? Sometimes a cut-paste will add in extra spaces or other weird stuff.

Just try typing it in manually, and don't forget the semicolon after Intercept:

#showtooltip Charge
/castsequence [harm] reset=15 Charge, Intercept; [help] Intervene;

Is it possible to have it do the following, I spend most time in battle stance, so

If charge is on cooldown, swap to zerker stance and intercept and visa versa?

If so what would the macro look like

The macro mentioned above is based on the Prot tree Warbringer talent where intercept, charge and Intervene in Defensive stance. The trouble with macros is they cant tell you if something is on cool down.

Of course, this Macro doesn't know when Charge is on cooldown either and yet it still works...

The magic is the cast sequence / reset macro which is you effectively macro-ing a cooldown in. Unfortunately I'm not good enough with macros to write up a Charge/Intercept macro for PvP but it's possible (I do have a stance dance, intercept, dance back macro as a separate ability though).

The trouble with macro's that involve stance changes is that you need to get back to your normal stance after the action is done.

The macro might look like this but you would need to hit the macro 4 times to get back to battle stance.

#showtooltip Charge
/castsequence reset=15 Charge, Berserker Stance, Intercept, Battle Stance

I have not tested it but feel free to improve it.

Grido, I am guessing we are talking warrior tank with [Warbringer] talent so that stance dance there isnt needed But for the other warriors go ahead...

I am using this macro and OmniCC for Cooldown on action bars. I works better than stupid Castsequence as i see it fails alot on the charge.
#showtooltip
/cast [nomod] Charge; [mod:shift] Intercept; [mod:ctrl] Intervene; [mod:alt] Charge;

Kaumu, Muffin Man sounded like they are in a DPS/PVP spec so they may not have Warbringer talent.
