just wanted to see if anyone else has tried this. i made a macro to pop my autoblocker, shield block, and shield bash everytime its up. im seeing some huge ss's. my thinking behind this is shield block doubles our block value (bigger shield slam) and shield bash increases ss damage by 10% talented. heres the macro

#show Shield Slam
/cast Shield Block
/cast Shield Bash
/use (whatever trinket you have here)
/cast Shield Slam (Rank 6)

anyone see any problems with this..or have any better ones?

I havent tried this in game but wont you have to hit your Macro Twice to make it work?

1st time Shield Bash will fire 2nd time Shield slam will.

So is 10% shield slam > what you could have use for that GCD - revenge or devastate?

its my understanding that you dont need to hit shield bash to get the 10% damage bonus. taking the talent just passivly gives you 10%. I was hitting shield bash then shield block and SS manually a lot until i asked around

When you hit shield block its important to only use abilities that can proc sword and board.

so the macro is

/cast shield block
/use 13

then manually hit shield slam. It used to be /use 13 /use 14 but you cant pop both autoblockers at the same time

Yeah what hbombs said - you don't have to use Shield Bash to get the bonus - you already have it.

i was not aware that you didnt need to shield bash to get the 10%..ill change that..and as far as pushing the button..it all fires off one click for me

correct, it will fire off all at once because pummel and shield bash were removed from the gcd.
