Was wondering if there was a mod that would disable the tooltip coming up in combat since it is annoying me so much. Still would like it to come up when out of combat though.

I know Cowtip has the option to turn it off when in combat.

Cowtip likewise has a billion and one things that you can list, so I'd check it out, sometimes it's useful to know more about your enemy =P

im just curious as to why you want to totally turn them off in combat as opposed to moving it or just making it smaller.

i have my tooltip on my mouse pointer and when im aoe tanking for example when mousing over i can easily see which mobs are at higher health and which ones are almost dead before i actually click on something.

I have mine set to hide standard UI tooltips, like what the name of the attack is etc. of the button that is being hovered over. And have it anchored out of the way. I just like a clear view, but the target mouse-overs are there if I want to look at them.
