Hey guys, im a tank looking to make a macro for ZA against the scouts and it's frustrating me. What I'm wanting to do is cast Charge then Concussion blow right away, switch stances to berserker stance, cast Hamstring, then back to defensive stance. However, I don't want the macro to cycle while im in combat (i.e. taking me out of defensive stance and casting Hamstring again) if i were to accidentally press the macro. I'm able to get as far as switching stances to Berserker stance, but it doesn't cast Hamstring. It just goes right back to Defensive stance . Here's what I have so far;

/castsequence Charge, Concussion Blow
#show Hamstring
/cast [stance:1] Berserker Stance; Hamstring
/cast Defensive Stance; end

It probably looks aweful, but its only my second attempt at a macro. Please someone halp!

Your macro can't work the way you want it to.

Charge, Concussion Blow, and Hamstring are all on the GCD, so you can't cast them all with one button. The castsequence allows you to hit them in order, but you can't have it not work when you're in combat because as soon as you charge you will be in combat and you won't ever swap to berserker stance to cast hamstring.

Macros are prevented from making complex decisions, so that you can't automate your play.

The closest thing I could come up with would be:

/castsequence reset=combat Charge, Concussion Blow, Battle Stance, Hamstring
/cast [stance:1] Defensive Stance

That should do the following:
One press: Charge
Two press: Concussion Blow
Third press: Battle Stance
Fourth press: Hamstring and back to Defensive Stance.

It will only reset after you get out of combat. If you hit it in combat after you already used it, it will just continuously try to cast hamstring which will fail. If you try to cast it in combat when you haven't used it yet, it will start with charge, then concussion blow, so it takes a before it will swap stances.
