Threatbars like Diamond has..

Hi there, i was wondering if there is some addon showing threat like diamond threat meter does over nameplates. Since omen doesnt have the overview mode and diamond make my pc really slow and somtimes doesnt even work at all (having 2x2ghz dualcore and 4gb ram oO) i really need anything like that to make ae tanking bit more easy.

Ps. tested Aloft but it shows threatbar if you target mob only, no ae mode.

I never tried Diamond, but I heard it was very laggy. Honestly, I don't know of any addons that are going to display threat above a players head on the nameplate. The best solution I could offer would be to use CowTip because there's a Threat line in the text and you could just mouse over a player to get their threat %.

Going by the description of how the threat API works from the Omen download page here: Omen Threat Meter : WoWInterface Downloads : Ace: Raid, I'd say what you are looking for might not be possible.

According to that description, a mob will only report threat values if someone in your group/raid actually has the mob targeted and is considered "in combat" with it. So, if you have an AOE pack, chances are pretty good that most of the mobs won't report back any threat values. Diamond appears to still be using the pre-3.0 method of reporting threat by parsing the combat log and using a threat library instead of using the new built-in threat API.

I do have omen but ist single target threat only included there, aswell as in cowtip or aloft. What i want is to have better possibility to see my acuall threat on mobs im not targeting while aoe tanking just like the red aura around nameplates by original blizz frames. Could be a bar or % or anything that would be better visable that blizz thiggy^^ Diamond have it included but it dont work if mobs hava same names and it really needs huge amount of performance or ist just not scriptet well and laggy...

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my description.

What you are seeking isn't possible with the 3.0 threat API. Diamond is giving such numbers (with a lot of lag) because it isn't using the new threat API. It's parsing the combat log like threat meters did <= 2.4 (and causing lots of lag in the process and also requiring everyone in your group/raid to have a LibThreat-enabled threat meter.)

The "aura" should be enough to tell you what mob you need to focus some additional threat on. There really is no need to know exactly what your threat on each mob is in a multi–mob pull. All you really need to know is whether or not you are about to lose aggro, which Blizzard has kindly built-in the game now.

Indeed, if you do pull a pack of say 30, and 1 of them changes target, it will actually say this around the mob. Even with omen knowing this is actually quite useful.

I'm using DTM and it's quite good. I am not to sure on it's accuracy but it shows me when I need to push more threat and the AOE stuff also works decent.
