Vigilance Tracking

Anyone got a nice way of remembering when to rebuff Vigilance?

Yep. I never use focus targets, so I setup an ElkBuffBar group to only show Vigilance on my focus target, got rid of Pitbull's Focus frame, and changed my Vigilance button to macro /focus, too. Now I have a nice little Vigilance icon just above my bars with a timer beside it .

You're more of less hacking out some solution from an addon that wasn't intended to do it in the first place. Another way to do it (if you use Pitbull) is to change make a DogTag to show something if they have the buff up. For example, I've been using something like this in raid frames:

S [---Player1---] <AFK>
D [---Player2---]

Where S = Soulstone Resurrection and D = Divine Intervention. Maybe I should put one up for V = Vigilance, too.

DogTag:
Code:
[if HasAura("Vigilance") then ["V":Color("FFFFFF") AuraDuration("Vigilance")]]
I'm not sure about the AuraDuration part, though. I think ag_UF has something similar as well.

I made a fast little addon for showing who my Vigilance went to.
It gives a notice in UIErrorframe when someone receive your Vigilance, and also a notice in chatframe when you and other warriors buff their Vigilance and who it ends up on. Only give notices on successful spellcasts so it's not spamming.

Very short and simple code, but does the trick for me.

Not really what you asked for, but I felt I rebuffed it on different ppl more often than every 30 min. So for those that does the same

What would be wonderful would be something like palypower, where you can set a target, see the time left and then easy recast it. Without the need for focus targets and set macros. If anyone are able to write an addon like that would be super awesome.

DoTimer works fine for it. Also works for monitoring your TC, Demo, etc. I use it on all my toons, they all have some kind of timers to watch for.

I use this WeeVigi addon and its really good, especially in a 25 man, but also what I am after is something that reminds me to apply the Vigilance in the first place when in a group. I'm fairly new to tanking, (and to being a warrior for that matter) and I keep having to be reminded to apply it to someone.
Any ideas? I already use annoying buff reminder, which is great for 'shouts'.
