forgive my ignorance, but MSBT ?

I just added a MSBT Trigger so, just as "Revenge!", i get a big "Sword 'n Board!" on my Screen. Works pretty well, it's just a bit new to have a priority rotation. Which isn't a real rotation anyway.

But I love the changes

I used a similar macro before patch 3.0 when tanking big bosses

/castrandom Shield Block, Revenge

Basically, I would just spam the heck out of this button knowing that I had a 50/50 chance of getting Revenge to proc if Shield Block was on GCD, and essentially Revenge will proc if you hit the button enough times.

So it doesn't just 'skip' over Shield Block if it was on GCD; however, by hitting it enough times based on simple odds, you will get Revenge to proc.

Shield Block isn't on the GCD. All that macro does is make your revenge less reliable. If you really want to macro Shield Block and Revenge together (which is definitely a bad idea now):

you can add custom events to SCT also. now there even is a page for it in the options.

Satrina, I can only get SBF to direct certain buffs to frame 1, 2 and 3. If I add a forth buff frame I can not choose it in the list. Is it just me not finding the option?

That was a little bug in the previous version where adding a frame didn't update the dropdowns. I just put up beta 7 which fixes that with a few other things.

First, it was a macro that I used as a MT from Kara all the way to both SSC and TK and did it successfully, I probably didn't do it as efficiently as others, but hey, to each his own, it worked for me.

Secondly, I did not say that I use that macro now, I said I used it before patch 3.0. Given the new changes to Shield Block, there is no reason I'd ever want to work SB with Revenge in the same macro.

Lastly, I was only trying to answer the question that you can use the /castrandom to write a Rev/SS and Dev/SS macro, and yes I'd say it is less reliable as you stated than probably just not using macros at all, but it is doable.

Can you tell me how you set S/B Proc up? I want to have a trigger for this proc but just cant figure it out.

just type /msbt then go to the triggers section.

create a new trigger, i called mine "Shield Slam (S&B)" to tell me to shield slam cuz S&B proc'd

then for the trigger options, just use Aura Gain, where the spell name is = sword and board

and that should do it. I also did one for the shield slam CD, so "Shield Slam" popups on my screen anytime it's available. I wish you could make it popup 1 second before the CD is up that would be nice...

I'm using Power Auras to lemme know about SnB procs. I have it set so the SnB icon flashes briefly on top of my toon, similar to the Pulse addon. Pretty spiffy.

I tried this in my version of MSBT there is no "aurra gain" - there is an "Aura Application" but this does not seem to work.
