I'd need to play around with it a bit more, but it's very solid. A big reason why I used EBB for so long and never switched to something else is because it sorts buffs by time remaining. Buffalo looks awesome, but you get very little control other than where you place your buffs. SBF is pretty much exactly what I've been wanting in a buff mod, other than as you said a few more things needing to be tweaked with how filters are handled.
I've already got one suggestion off the top of my head. I have my buffs sorted by Time Decending, and because Auras have no time it puts them at the bottom. It's something I could deal with over time, but would much rather prefer all the auras go first (or at least an option).

Global Options tab -> "Auras have max time". I am thinking of making that a per-frame option in 3.1, so it is not buried (it's a common question, so it's obviously badly placed!)

XD Thanks! I might have a few other ideas/suggestions. Let me look through it. So far, it pretty much does exactly what I want it to, the GUI isn't as clear cut as EBB was for me.

I definitely agree that the GUI needs some cleaning up.

Hey Satrina,
First let me say that this is an awesome mod and I'm pumped to see the additions in 3.1.
Quick question for you:
Take a look at this first screenshot. This is my setup for SBF.:
When I close SBF options:
Currently, the first buff is in row 1, column 1 and the second is in row 2, column 1. Is there any way to have the buffs flow from right to left and then down into the next row (i.e. have the second buff be in row 1, column 2)?
Thanks in advance.

Check off Show in rows, then mess with the slider above it

Is this UI up to date with the expansion or is it still being worked on? Because that very last screen shot that you have posted in the OP is exactly what I'm looking for in a set up. I like to see more of my screen, and this suits my OCD perfectly.

Can I make buffs grow on a vertical bar from right to left (I have 2 buffs per row), instead of going down, and when it reach bottom starts over the top?
Sorry if I didn't explained myself correctly :P
Regards,
J

You're probably looking for show in rows and reverse order

Thanks, you gave me a good direction
I've managed to do it by "Show in Rows" + hell loads of "Buffs per Column" (Columns wich turn to be rows in that mode :P)
Also, I've found that if I open the dropdown for Number of Buffs, it will loose focus and close itself if I move my mouse anywhere else.
Thanks a lot ofr this Addon, really great one =)

Is there a way to filter all player debuffs?
I want a debuff window for generic debuffs, and I want a debuff window for gimmick/important npc debuffs without having to manually add the gimmick debuff to a special bar.

So... you want it to put certain debuffs into another frame without you having to specify what they are?

Basically I'd like it to put all player castable debuffs (not just my own class) in one bar, followed by all debuffs that are not player cast in another. (for things like Loatheb's spores, Grob's injections, etc.)
With EBB I achieved this via one ~bloody huge~ blacklist of debuffs.

Nope, for the same reason that EBB can't. There's no intrinsic way to tell that debuff A was cast by a player while debuff B was cast by a mob.

But, they rarely share names. I guess I was just hoping too hard that there was a prebuilt list of all player debuffs. Yay to building one myself.

It'd be great if there were a library for addons to do that sort of thing. Nobody's built one, though. I have toyed with the idea of building a library that has every class spell (buff, debuff, etc.), since once you have that everything else is from environment. It'd need to include side effect debuffs such as the Frostbolt debuff that a mage's Frostbolt applies when the damage lands. It isn't a small project. Would definitely allow me to do some really cool filtering tricks, though!
