Ok, so as we know, servers are mostly down (there are a small few up)

I deleted my addons out of my Wow addon folder and went to Curse, picked out a few I needed and away I go.....oh wait. So I log on to one of the open servers that I had previously created a lvl 1 alt on. I log in and the addon menu still shows my old addons, all out of date.

Ok, so I back out of Wow and look around and the new addons are there in the wow folder. I empty the 'recycling bin', restart the computer.

Nothing changes. Some of the non essential stuff I didn't download this time is still showing up along with all the old versions of the addons I just downloaded. Nothing I downloaded today is showing up IN GAME but its all there in the proper folder on my desktop. The other stuff is long gone, deleted and recycling bin dumped.....yet, it keeps showing up.

WTF??

I should add, I'm using Vista Ultimate....shoot me now, kk?

I've got it....the machine recognizing different users and deleting the file under one but not the other..../sigh. I like Vista but sometimes its retarded.

Also, seems like some of the alleged 3.0 ready addons are not working right. Pitbull......grrr.

Yeah, I've come across a great many addons that are listed as being 3.0 ready, then when I go to the download page the last update was 4 months ago >.<

Its a mess. I went to log in yesterday and encountered all the server issues so I hopped over to Curse, unloaded my addon folder and went shopping.

So...alleged "Wrath ready" mods are throwing errors. Cartographer is locking up and keeping the map on screen, for example. I got Bartender 4 up for an alt early on one of the few open servers but it won't load on my main server now that the server is up. Going to mess with it tonight if they figure out the issues.

Sad, but when you grow dependant upon mods you freak out when having to play on the default. That's me......default UI is fail.

most of last night was spent arranging the blizzard UI to only resemble my old bartender setup. keybindings, etc... it had been an hour or so when i realized i hadnt ventured out of shatt and entered combat...

round 2 tonight.

Yeah, times like this when you are forced to make some changes are a good time to make others, I plan on making 3.0 the time I switch from a click/keybind hybrid to less mouse dependency.
