I am trying to teach my son on targeting my target.

I am looking for a macro that would allow him to target a players name then target that persons target.

I know the below wont work but..

/cast target falkynn
/cast targets target ???

The command for this is /assist. As in:

/assist Falkynn

that will make his target the same as your target. It also works for mobs: you can select the target of a mob by using /assist [mob], although this is counter intuitive to the word "assist".

Additionally, there is a default key bound to assisting your current target. I believe it is 'F'.

Furthermore, there is a setting buried somewhere that allows you to begin auto-attacking on assist. This is nice for melee and hunter types.
