What is the benefit to doing this with elk vs doing it with another buff mod? | There really is no benefit to be honest. If you can get the same effect with another mod that you like more, than go for it. I primarily made this video tutorial because I get frequent PM's on the forums asking me how to set up their bars like mine.
I may or may not make more in the future. The whole point of the videos would be "How to" videos, not "These are the best mods, how dare you use anything else!" videos.

I love the embedding for a quick look, but I would really love to be able to download this tutorial to be able to see it a little larger (mine old eyes and all...) Is there a chance at a direct download link or a filefront user page link? | Tell me what you think of it now.

Thanks for the tutorial i followed it exactly and am very happy with the setup. One problem im having that ive been try to solve for the past 20 minutes is how to remove the tracking icon from the buff bar. I prefer it on the minimap. Am i missing an option or you cant remove the icon? Thanks for any advice

Nice tutorial. I've been wanting to use the Elk's Buff Bars for quite a while, but never took the time to configure them and usually went back to the Buffalo Buff Bars. I think I've made the switch successfully now. Thanks!

I'll look into it later when the servers are up pending the addon will still work with 3.0.

Elkano had his 3.0 version a while ago, so it should be available today.

Anyone seen or have a link for the new version for 3.0 WoW? | I assume the one I'm using is the 3.0 version. At least it was working with 3.0 today. Elkano's BuffBars - Addons - Curse |

Yup. Any buff addon that worked for 2.4 will not work for 3.0 without code changes.

Hey Caulle, nice guide - thanks.
Do you know how to split a group into more then one column (or is it not poss?). The prob atm is I run out of space for a long list of buffs as you can see on the right in this screenshot:
Any ideas how to get all my buffs showing in raids?

Assuming you just want Sword and Board, make a new group then set as follows in the filter menu for that group
Filter: Buff
Self Cast Buffs: whitelist
White List: Sword and Board (leave every other buff unchecked)
Then set up the display and postion as required.

Hi Caulle, thanks so much for sharing your Elk tweaks. I've been wanting to minimalize that addon for so long. Now that I have that fixed, could you post something on how you modified your Pitbull? Yours has got to be the best Pitbull set up I've ever seen. Perhaps you can share your WTF settings (if that works?) I hope this isnt offtopic. Thanks again, from one female prot warrior to another.

I just had some random work e-mailed to me this week so I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll make a new post as soon as it happens.
Also, there's a second part coming for the EBB video because I forgot some other aspects of it. Fail.

Any ideas how to get all my buffs showing in raids? | Little bump for assistance, is this possible with ebb? Can I do double columns with Satrina's mod?
Thanks

Yup. Any buff addon that worked for 2.4 will not work for 3.0 without code changes. | Not entirely true. rBuffs didn't have a problem. But then that mod is about 40 lines of code
Also, you can remove the tracking icon with Filter -> Type -> Uncheck Tracking
