im looking to buy a new mouse since mine currently is less than ideal in its functioning. something about left click registering as a double click 90% of the time. i dont want to spend a fortune on it, and prefer a wireless mouse over a corded one but either will work. trackballs are nice, but i dont know if i could make the leap into using one while playing wow. anyone have recommendations on what to look at?

I prefer corded to wireless, but the Logitech MX Revolution is a very nice wireless. My biggest gripe with wireless is being caught out in the cold when your batteries die - the Revolution has a great internal battery, long life, and a charging cradle you can plop it on at the end of the day so you never have to worry about it. Also, my hands are larger than average and it is beefy enough to feel comfortable in my hand.
Unfortunately this is not the cheapest mouse on the planet - that's the biggest downside.
Edit: was just looking at Logitech's site, and there is a less expensive "VX" Revolution now as well. Can't speak from personal experience on that one but maybe the features will suit you and it's better for your budget?

Logitech G series
I have a G5 (Prefer corded mices) and I absolutely love it. I'll never go back to 'normal' mices
It's highly customizable (you can program each button's actions on a program per program basis), you can switch it's sensitivity on the fly (or again, have it app based)
And moreover, you can put weight in it ! (I prefer heavy mices)

I have been using a Fata1y (or whatever silly way he spells it) for some time down. There are two things I really love about it. It's more comfortable in than other mice I have tried, it's wide and flat rather than having a peaked middle (if that makes since). Also the big third mouse button (or second right click) is very useful for movement.
My old one died on me and I was able to pick up a new one at frys in the $30 range.

Personally I use the MX Revolution and it defenatly revolutionized my tanking (TPS wise) atm I have every single button bound to a ability/macro to minimize responze time. This has proven to be great at fights such as Archimonde! After 2 years of abuse its starting to be abit worn so Im contemplating getting a replacement for it. Also I notived that warriors gets more abilities with Wrath that I defenatly want at easy reach! So Im likely gonna order the new Wow mouse from Steel series! Its the amount of buttons at easy reach and the it supposedly has great support for Wow macros etc etc. But its a hefty price for a mouse and I generally prefer to see some kind of rewiev Maybe I just have to bite the bitter apple and make the rewiev myself!

I use the Microsoft Laser keyboard/mouse set.. 6000 series (or 5..) and love it. Batteries last almost a year, smooth action and good controls. Mouse has more buttons than i need.
