Looking for Grim Reaper(standalone)

I am looking for a standalone version of Grim Reaper or a mod that does the exact same thing without integrating x-perl to my UI. I didnt like X-perl much, but I'd like to have Grim Reaper.

I'm not sure that any Grim Reaper-like addons will work until the combat log deaths bug is fixed (not even listed for 2.4.2 ) but Recount gives you a blow-by-blow account of the events leading to death (see the screenie under "Detail Window").

Note: I haven't used Grim Reaper myself (for the same reasons as you list) but from what I understand from guildmates that's what it does... Please enlighten me if I'm wrong!

Oh and you can run Grim Reaper without the rest of X-Perl; I tried it once but couldn't work out how to move the window so went back to Recount. Just extract the Grim reaper folder from the zip, or disable the other addons that are included.

Since 2.4 or so, Grimreaper is available as standalone addon at files.wowace.com. :-)
You can download and update it via wowaceupdater at WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft.
