Yes, that is Prat, I believe with default settings. I'm not too fond of prat because it has about 9 billion extra useless things that add load time but I never use (like the graphical options), but it has sweet copy/paste and mousewheel scrolling all in one so.. :|

you can disable the extra modules in Prat, however there are far better alternatives such as pChat.

pChat was an example, not necessarily a suggestion to use as a stand-alone replacement for Prat. However, there are much more proper ways to convey your disagreement then the use of expletives.

hey there, I really like the UI, but I am having trouble putting it in the right folders I think. I am usually ok with computers, but I dont use very many addons at all.
I was wondering if someone might be able to list the steps to installing it into the right folders and such?
I have tried but its not showing anything when I log onto my guy, they arent even showing up on the addons screen at character log in.
thank you.

Well now that cider had to go and (mistakingly, I think) super-publicize this..
Basically, when you download the ui, you get a .rar file. Extract it with something, WinRar is useful. (google winrar) Extract it somewhere safe, like your desktop.
Then you'll have two folders, AddOns and WTF. (These were made from my .rar you just extracted)
Open the AddOns folder, and select everything in it, and Copy. Then, go to your own AddOns folder (in your WoW directory), and hit paste. You'll get prompted if you want to overwrite some things, it doesn't matter if you hit yes or no, it should work either way.
Next, open the WTF folder on your desktop (or wherever you extracted).
Another folder is there. "Account"
Open it.
Another folder is there. "YourAccountName"
Open it.
Two folders are there. SavedVariables and YourRealmName
Open YourRealmName
One folder in there: YourCharacterName
Rename it to whatever your character name is.
Then, go back, and copy the folder that you renamed to be your character.
Go into your WoW directory, and that WTF folder, and navigate over to that same location (wtf->account->account name->server name->) and copy paste, overwriting your old character name
Alternatively you can just rename all the folders in my .rar to match yours and copy the base WTF in to overwrite yours; but you'll lose all your settings from your other characters too and stuff.

awesome I got it all up and working now, think I might need to update a few addons because of the patch, getting a bunch of errors messages. Other than that though I just gotta figure out what everything does and I will be in good shape.
going from just using omen/recount to having all these is kinda rough =/

Yea, I'm probably going to have to re-up it soon due to so many mods being updated with the new patch.
Kind of depressing going on WoTLK beta, 98% of my stuff is broken, so I'm playing nearly bare |

I have a video that you did a while ago Xav - where you soloed garr. (by a while ago, i mean that you were using the illidan shield)
you had a mod that was (as far as i could tell) purely aesthetic. Whenever you open say, the character pane, it zooms up like a window in vista (sor of like, expands from one point to form the proper window). do you know what that mod is called and do you have a link to it?
thanks man

thanks man | I think you may have sent me a tell ingame asking the same thing, and I don't think I ever recalled what it was. I'll check one sec here and see if I can still find it (I don't use it anymore)
