Who: Machiavellis Cat, on the PvE PST Uldum server (http://www.machiavelliscat.com)
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Mondays from 6-9pm PST
What: Looking for a skilled tank, preferably DK or bear
Why: To kill Heroic Twins, Anub, and anything ICC will throw at us

Do you like doing damage to bosses, sassing your guild members, and the Princess Bride? Does seeing someone type 'ur dum' make you break out in hives? Are you okay working with insane rocket scientist paladins?

Machiavellis Cat was created in May, 2005, and has had virtually the same leadership since its inception. We started raiding at the tail end of classic WoW (Ragnaros down, woo!), but vowed to become a little more focused in TBC. MCats engaged Illidan before 3.0 hit, and completed Sarth 3D pre-3.1.

We are a "casualcore" guild, which means we take our nine hours a week of raiding seriously, but as adults we also know that real life can be a harsh mistress. With limited time to raid each week, we believe very strongly in being prepared, informed, and punctual.

MCats raid three times a week -- Tuesday, Thursday, and Monday from 6-9pm PST -- and are currently 3/5 in TotGC-25 and working on Anub in TotGC-10. Optional 10-mans are available 2-3 nights a week. We recently completed Heroic Three Lights in the Darkness, and we have Rusted Protodrakes and Starcallers.

Our members skew a little older than average, and we have more female raiders than most guilds. We are a popular "retirement home" for hardcore ex-officers and guild leaders who are looking for a fun, relaxed, yet progressive environment. Most of us are very, very geeky (lawyers, engineers, programmers, editors). Guild chat is friendly and goofy, and not using texting shorthand is highly recommended. We get together in person once a year at "CatCon". This year it was in Vegas. Much hilarity ensued.

We are currently looking for a tank to join the core 25-man raid team. You should be:

* Butt-kicking!
* Have gear that is approximately ready TotGC.
* Understand the importance of spatial awareness and not standing in Bad Things.
* Generally able to attend 2-3 of our raids each week.
* Unflinching if a guildie pulls out a spreadsheet during a theorycraft debate.
* Familiar with the fact that "Ur" is an ancient Mesopotamian city and not a pronoun.

For more information on our guild, please visit our website at Machiavellis Cat - World of Warcraft Guild Uldum Realm (http://www.machiavelliscat.com).

Thanks, and happy killing!

Ok this has been a long time coming.
Phoenix Rising Is a guild of modest skill and ambition on the realm of Jaedenar. Only a few months ago we crawled past our first ten man to become one of the larger and skilled guilds on the server, without catering to leetist attitudes or heavy drama. Family and friend run, the core raiders are friendly, skilled, and competent. There is a lot of other awesome stuff about us but I cant think of it all, were just that sexy.

Our current progression is Toc 10 man on farm, 25 we can rock through with 23 out of 25 guildies. We have 2 10 man toc groups and are working on a third and a fourth one of which is primarily alts, so there is plenty of room for new raiders.

We are working on 10 man toc heroic modes right now.

In past raids we have downed all content except for yogg. Sadly interest in pushing him down was lost when toc came out and we hit the ground late. Many of our raiders have downed sarth 3D and we run old raids for fun fairly frequently to gear up newer members and alts.

A key thing about us is we put rl and a fun game before other goals so we avoid a lot of drama and in fighting. So drop us a line, fill out an app, or ask for some vent time.
be warned, part of the application process involves you telling us a joke, so come prepared.
anyway guild here, see ya soon!

[A][EU-Alonsus]<Aranoch> Open Recruitment

*About Us*

When Ulduar was first released a lot of us realised that the step up in skill and dedication from Tier 7 was significant and if we were to see all of the content the game had to offer we would need to form a guild that matched these ideals. It was from this mindset that Aranoch was formed from a close-knit group of friends at the end of June 2009. That goal - to see everything the game can offer - persists to this day and we have made great strides forward in terms of progression in the short time we've been around.

We also have a Space Invader on our tabard.

*Progression*

We've come a long way since our inception in our 10-man groups and are looking now to recruit members to be a part of our 25-man team, to gear up and practice in advance of the release of Icecrown Citadel. When we formed, we were but four bosses into Ulduar-10. Over the past few months, this is how far we've come:

_10-man_

5/5 Trial of the Grand Crusader (A Tribute to Skill)
5/5 Trial of the Crusader
1/1 Onyxia's Lair
9/14 Ulduar Hard Modes (Orbituary, Iron Dwarf Medium Rare, Heartbreaker, Stokin' the Furnace, I Choose You, Steelbreaker, Disarmed, I Could Say That Cache Was Rare, Lose Your Illusion, Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood)
13/14 Ulduar
4/4 Obsidian Sanctum
1/1 Eye of Eternity
15/15 Naxxramas

_25-man_

5/5 Trial of the Crusader
1/1 Onyxia's Lair
10/14 Ulduar
4/4 Obsidian Sanctum
1/1 Eye of Eternity
15/15 Naxxramas

We're now working on TotGC-25, on finishing Ulduar-25 (in the Summer signup lieu, we pushed 10-man progress instead) and getting to Algalon on 10-man. We also run regular guild runs of TotC on 10- and 25-man and TotGC on 10-man for gear farming purposes.

*Raid Times & Attendance*

We currently raid five nights per week (Sunday through Thursday) and we ask that our members are available for an average of three per week, tallied over a rolling one month period. Raid times are from 19:30-00:00 server time.

*Loot System & DKP*

We use a flat DKP system with a single-bid silent auction. DKP is earned from hourly attendance, boss kills with significant bonuses for Hard Mode and Progression kills. Where we are over-subscribed for a given raid, we permit people to earn DKP outside of the raid by being available on standby as a replacement to reward their dedication to the guild and willingness to step in if needed.

*What We Are Looking For?*

The right candidate loves to raid, loves to hang out with like-minded people and is happy to wipe on progression content in order to eventually reap the greater rewards as well as farm easier instances to get those last few pieces of gear for them and their friends.

Our philosophy on new recruits is best summed up as "Attitude > Skill > Experience > Gear". Putting thought into your application and presenting yourself well will get you a lot further than one word answers or being rude, even if you're in full TotGC-25 gear. A willingness to learn your class and the raid encounters is the most important thing. Gear can be farmed for easily but you can't gem for politeness.

*What Classes Are We Looking For?*

We welcome applications from any class, but right now (as of 4 November) we are especially looking for applications from:

2 Hunters (any viable raiding spec)
2 Rogues (any viable raiding spec)
1 Shaman (Enhance or Elemental)
1 Priest (Shadow)
1 Warlock (any viable raiding spec)

If you do not see your class listed above but still believe you have what it takes then by all means still apply - we will consider any great application.

For hybrid classes, having a raid-ready offspec is beneficial but not essential.

*How Do I Find Out More?*

To apply or for more information, please stop by our website at Home : Aranoch - EU - English - Alonsus - World of Warcraft - Guild Launch Guild Hosting (http://www.aranoch.co.uk). Alternatively, please feel free to either post your question here or contact any of the following in-game if you'd like to discuss anything at all:

Ravorin, Cuthalio, Mertissielle, Arkadi, Tashabasha, Tatiana, Brentje or Squarepushor.

Where we are over-subscribed for a given raid, we permit people to earn DKP outside of the raid by being available on standby as a replacement to reward their dedication to the guild and willingness to step in if needed.

What We Are Looking For?

What Classes Are We Looking For?

We welcome applications from any class, but right now (as of 4 November) we are especially looking for applications from:

2 Hunters (any viable raiding spec)
2 Rogues (any viable raiding spec)
1 Shaman (Enhance or Elemental)
1 Priest (Shadow)
1 Warlock (any viable raiding spec)

If you do not see your class listed above but still believe you have what it takes then by all means still apply - we will consider any great application.

For hybrid classes, having a raid-ready offspec is beneficial but not essential.

How Do I Find Out More?

To apply or for more information, please stop by our website at Home : Aranoch - EU - English - Alonsus - World of Warcraft - Guild Launch Guild Hosting. Alternatively, please feel free to either post your question here or contact any of the following in-game if you'd like to discuss anything at all:

Ravorin, Cuthalio, Mertissielle, Arkadi, Tashabasha, Tatiana, Brentje or Squarepushor.

*Conbrioguild.com (http://conbrioguild.com)*

Image: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/8647/cbrecruit.png

Greeting, potential applicant! Have you been looking for a guild that takes end-game seriously without sacrificing their sense of humor and enjoyment? How about a guild that doesn't mock, insult, or patronize raiders for mistakes? Or perhaps a guild where as a new person, you're automatically considered a part of the family and not excluded as the "new guy"? Oh, you are? Well, read on!

*Are you an individual who....*

• Is a loyal guy/gal who is looking for a long-term home?
• Knows that Ur is an ancient city, not a lazy substitute for a word?
• Is a competent, competitive, and crazy (sorry, I had to keep the alliteration going!) player, who not only has a *full* understanding of his/her class, but also keeps up with the latest changes to his/her class?
• Is an analytical player, who consistently assesses his/her performance to consistently improve?
• Is a self-starter, and doesn't need people to hold his/her hand to get things done? Well, some of us might be convinced to do more than hold your hand; do you have pics?
• Is not only able to accept constructive criticism and learn from it, but expects it from his/her guild-mates as a stepping stone to improve?
• Is able to sarcastically and subtly mock people without them ever understanding they were just insulted? We're a dying breed, I know.
• Has an outrageously good sense of humor?
• Is also outrageously good-looking? This is important, especially if you're a man.
• Is comfortable with his/her sexuality? Is comfortable with our sexuality?
• Is a furry or Asian, or a furry Asian. Look, I don't make the rules around here, so don't ask me; we have some weirdos here.

*Are you interested in a guild that...*

• Recruits intelligently? We don't recruit for bench spots, and personality is as important a factor as is skill/experience!
• Has a diverse and interesting group of people, real people you can actually get to know, instead of voices and pixels?
• Is able to convey things in fully coherent English?
• Is able to have *fun* during raids? We joke, make fun of each other, have karaoke, have full conversations in vent text-to-speech bindings, and still get bosses down effortlessly. We know how to have fun, but we also focus when it counts.
• Has girls? Which contradicts the rule of there being no girls on the internet, but balances out because they know their place is to make sandwiches.
• Has a name that's supposed to be all deep, but has somehow been interpreted as Con Bro? That's right, join us, and you too can bro out with us. We might even call you the next day.

*We're particularly interested in recruiting...*

• 1 Holy Paladin (possibly another breed of healer if geared and experienced!)Ideally, you are an experienced and skilled healer who understands his/her respective class and are flexible in healing assignments. Healing is your passion, and it really shows in your performance.
• 1 Tank with a viable DPS spec and gear set (preferably a bear or DK)Con Brio has always had high standards for tanks. We expect you to not only understand your class, but to enjoy aggressively debating class/tank mechanics and theorycraft. You don't have "maintank-itis," and enjoy working with your fellow tanks as a tank. On the flip-side, you must also enjoy your DPS off spec enough to play it well and understand all of our tanks rotate tanking and off specs to avoid burn-out and attendance issues.
• 1-2 *geared* and *experienced* DPSWe're primarily interested in competitive and aggressive damage-dealers. We want top end numbers and someone who never settles for mediocrity. Ideally, you should be able to hop right in and compete with our top DPS.
We're looking to fill core raider spots. Having a dual spec and the gear to play it is a bonus! And even if we're seemingly full or not actively recruiting your class, please don't hesitate to apply- especially if you're a solid player!

*About Con Brio*

We're a friendly, selfless, fun, goofy, and downright dirty-minded bunch, whose ultimate goal is to balance a guild appealing to both social and progression-minded folks of the game. We have an exceptionally lengthy application/interview process, which helps ensure all members recruited fit our ideals and personalities in the guild. We created this guild after being fed up with our past guilds looking at all members as only a raid spot filled, and the members looking at one another as raid loot/slot competition. We strive to create a guild of individuals that play for one another, not the purples, and a guild that feels more like a group of close friends experiencing content together rather than serious job-like raiding. And as such, we've established a very strong foundation. We're a unique guild with a unique philosophy, and people love it. They play for us, not for themselves, so when the going gets tough, we still remain strong.

Con Brio is a stable and established guild of almost two years. We've had the same leadership from the beginning, have suffered no bouts of drama, our server reputation is respected and untarnished by elitist players or drama, and experience very little turnover. This is our home, not the latest FoM guild for loot-'n-scooting, and we're looking for people like you to become part of our family.

*Raid Times*

Tuesday - Thursday, 9pm to 12am PST (which is 10-1 server time)

That's nine hours a week, and you're only expected to make two out of the three raids. We have the mentality that if everyone carries his or her own weight, you don't need to raid five, six days a week. Don't waste time, have a fun time doing it.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me on the forums, or hit me up on AIM at Cristyen@gmail.com. Additionally, most raid members should be able to help you with any questions if you whisper a member in-game.

*About us:*

Keine Neuen was formed on the Mal'ganis server in September of 2007 as a progression guild focused on recruiting a more mature and laid back raiding base. While progression and completion of all raiding content is the ultimate goal of the guild, a tension-free atmosphere is maintained at all times and is just as important to the success of the guild.

While we have a tight core of players who have stuck with the guild throughout BC into WOTLK, we also are very welcoming to new recruits and try our best to acclimate new players in a way that makes them feel welcome and in a way that makes them feel they have found a potential new raiding home in a raiding environment that may not be typical to most raiding guilds. We value players who fit with this guild on a social level as well as on a raiding skill level. We all get along very well with each other; raiding is far more enjoyable when the raid team is able to joke around together, focus together, wipe together, and scream over vent with each other when downing new bosses or completing new achievements.

As a guild that is filled mostly with college students (we have an 18+ policy) and working adults, we do the best with the time we have and this is a major part of our raiding philosophy. For us it's all about quality over quantity. We would rather spend fewer quality hours raiding and meeting our raiding and progression goals rather than subjecting people to countless hours of raiding where everyone constantly AFKs with little focus.

Keine Neuen tries to also maintain a civil, respectful, mature, and bigotry-free environment. We do not tolerate people who help create an antagonistic or negative atmosphere.

_*We have cleared Ulduar and ToC. We have started and completed some hard modes in Ulduar and Heroic TotGC and are continuing to work on those while preparing the roster for Icecrown. For a list and to see what we have done, here is our list on Guild Ox:*_

    * Keine Neuen's Page on Guild Ox (http://www.guildox.com/go/g.asp?n=Keine+Neuen&r=Mal%27Ganis-US)

*About You:*

The ideal candidate will read the following and think "That sounds perfect!"

* * You are looking for a guild and raiding atmosphere that is the opposite of what one traditionally finds in 'Barrens Chat' and most other guilds.
* Your main interests are PvE progress, the thrill of downing new bosses, completing hard modes, seeing new content, the enjoyment of working as part of a well-oiled raiding machine and the temporary prestige that comes along with advancement. You don't raid just for loot or to gear yourself up for PvP.
* You're planning on being around until you've beaten the current top-tier content in its entirety. You're not here to "see how this raiding thing is" or because you're suddenly bored with Arena. You consider yourself a long-term PvE raider.
* You aren't fickle. We may not go as fast or slow as you'd like or use the "perfect" raid makeup that you envision, and you are OK with this.
    * You realize that learning a boss encounter will involve learning and wiping.
    * You read up on encounters beforehand and enjoy going over strategy in advance.
    * Your gem choices and talent choices reflect your dedication to raid progression.
    * You're able to show up on time and stay for the whole raid.
    * You have excellent knowledge of your class and desired raid role.
* You are attentive, situationally aware, and have good reaction time. This means you know how to move out of AoEs, switch targets fast, not explode in the raid, etc.
* You really enjoy your class and desired raid role. For example, if you're a healer, you love to heal, and you are sure this is not going to change.
    * You're able to follow instructions.
* You're willing to take constructive criticism (not abuse. We don't do abuse). You're also willing to try to learn from your mistakes.
    * You're able to use Ventrilo. You don't have to talk, only be able to hear.
    * You've got a decent computer and stable Internet connection.

*Class Specific Notes:*

Our class needs are based on what we would idealistically love to add at this current time and not because we are lacking completely in these classes.

We run a tight ship in terms of making sure each member of each class gets a fair shot at raiding time. This means that we do not invite our members to our raids randomly, have a great sign-up system in place and have people in charge of class rotations within each class/class role. As a guild that is focused on communication and running things smoothly, everyone is very open with communicating and this helps this system work as well as it has worked for almost 2 years now. This means you may (emphasis on may) sit out at times or get rotated with your other class/class role members. This shouldn't be a foreign concept for you.

Here are the tanking classes we would love to add at this time:

* A Capable, Enthusiastic and Reliable Off-Tank. (Prefer: Paladin, Druid or Death Knight) (Must also have a viable DPS Off-spec and enjoy using it)

*Our Schedule:*

We spend four nights a week on progression content in 25 man raids. These are our raid times:

* * Monday-Thursday 8PM-11PM Server Time (CST)

*How To Apply:*

We strongly suggest that if anyone is interested in finding out more about Keine Neuen, they read through the Keine Neuen website (http://kn.collapsing.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=762).
[H] PVE-US <Innuendo> Seeks Casual, Friendly Raiders

<Innuendo> is a small guild hoping to flesh out its ranks with mature, knowledgeable and fun-loving players. Many of our members are real-life friends and family with one another and so our guild has now become one big family. Our players span from coast to coast and beyond international borders (and date lines!). While we are focused on instancing, raiding and progression, we aren't going to sacrifice fun for it. We work hard toward our goals and enjoy the victory just as much, if not more. In addition to that, we also know when to laugh at ourselves and laugh off utter failure.

We are currently recruiting all classes and specs. Official raid times are, for the moment, Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm server time (CST/CDT). We will be adjusting schedules around our players' real-life commitments and figuring out what works best for all of our players. Our main playing times are usually in the evening hours, server time. We have fun doing anything from getting achievements to getting gear, from running Deadmines to running Heroic Maly. Progression is currently taking us to Maly10, Uld10 and Onyxia10.

Not 80 and decked out in gear yet? Not a problem! We have a plethora of alts and lower level players who are still trekking to 80. We also pride ourselves in discussing game mechanics, class specifications, roles in raids and all of that other technical stuff you may have always wanted to ask about!

So bring your sense of humor, sense of adventure, flasks and potions, uber skills and sharp wits! (We'll provide the koala bacon pies, I promise). The challenge of Arthas awaits!

Please visit us at *www.innuendoguild.com* (http://www.innuendoguild.com) and submit an application! We look forward to hearing from you in the very near future. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself, Smorcus and Necropoke either through private message/whisper or in-game mail. Also, feel free to email us at *innuendorunetotem@gmail.com*.

[A] Myriad of Staghelm is currently looking for quality tanks to help us finish hard mode 25 TOC. We have cleared all content except Hard Anub. Progression is subjective these days, but according to Wowprogress.com, our guild is currently 3rd on the server and 2nd alliance. Our server is ranked 77th in the US.

Myriad is a guild founded at the onset of BC with the intention of pushing casual raiding to its limits. As we grew and stepped into server top 10, we evolved into a more hardcore guild and now raid four days a week. It’s an exciting and uncertain time on our server as the top alliance progression spot is up for grabs. We want it, we just need a solid, reliable tank to get us there.

If you have a shield and block gear, we especially love you, but need all types of tanks.

Raid Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 7pm-11pm central time, invites promptly at 6:30. 75% attendance gets you raider status.

Loot is done by officer council based on attendance, performance, rank, size of upgrade, and fair distribution.

If interested in joining our team, roll a level one and speak with Naranja, Acer or Rhinlynn if you have any questions, or apply on our site, Myriad (http://www.myriad-staghelm.com).

*Primary roster needs*
* One Rogue
* One Resto Shaman

*The quick facts*

Raid Schedule: T & Th 10 PM – 2 AM Server time (Central) & Sunday 9 PM – 1 AM Server (Central)
Loot System: EPGP
Leadership: Six officer council
T9 Progression: TotGC 4/5 (all four Horde Firsts)
T8 Progression: Ulduar 25 - Glory of the Ulduar Raider (25)

Come summon a Game Master with us! Or just read about it in the News section of our forums.

In addion to our guild sponsored official 25 man raiding, we have two ten man teams that run on off nights. One group has meta achievement from Ulduar (working on Alganon) and has completed A Tribute to Mad Skill in TotGC. The second group is two thirds through the meta and has completed A Tribute to Insanity. We're working on building a third group.

<Unbridled> is an adult guild (18+) comprised of a wide variety of experienced raiders, a fair number who have raided together previously in other games and under different tags. Our primary interest in playing World of Warcraft is to experience as much content as possible. We keep a casual schedule that allows for us to also spend time with our real-life family, friends, and responsibilities, but when we’re raiding, it’s strictly business. We have no problem keeping up other guilds that maintain heavier raid schedules. We're working on hard mode achievements, so we are looking for players that want to push their skills to the next level, not sit around and farm content.

We like to enjoy a relaxed, yet mature, environment within our guild. We enjoy banter, jest, and free-spirited conversations. We do not abide bigotry, condescension, rudeness, or other such childish behaviors. We also expect our guild members to act accordingly within the Draka community. Our behaviors and actions within the game or on forums should reflect that philosophy. It can often take only one person to change the reputation of a guild, and we'll not put up with those who change it for the worse.

We are looking for applicants that understand their class and can be contributing raid members. We expect 75% attendance. Raiders should be fully prepared with consumables including flasks, potions, food, etc. We also appreciate a good sense of humor. Applicants should note that we are an adult guild and our atmosphere is much like a neighborhood bar. It’s no place for children. Our Code of Conduct is not lengthy, but can still be summed up as “Don’t be a douche”. We do expect you to read it as well as other introductory materials on our site before applying. Please include WWS or WMO links, if available.

If good times, bad puns, and a tag you can be proud of sounds like how you want to spend your time in game, please visit our website, Unbridled: A Horde Guild on Draka-US (http://unbridled.mmoguildsites.com/) and apply by clicking on the “Apply for Membership” link in the Recruitment sidebar. You can also contact Savvyy in game with questions.

If good times, bad puns, and a tag you can be proud of sounds like how you want to spend your time in game, please visit our website, Unbridled: A Horde Guild on Draka-US and apply by clicking on the “Apply for Membership” link in the Recruitment sidebar. You can also contact Savvyy in game with questions.
