Warrior IceHud Custom Cool Down Bar

I have IceHud which lets you create some Custom Cool Down Bars. However, it wants you to put in the name of the ability, and I'm a bit lost. What are the names it is looking for to be typed in for Shield Slam and Shield Block?

If it's just Shield Slam and Shield Block like that? Or is it some other way of formatting the command?

I realize this may be very nubbish, but that would fit the poster :)

General Help with "Nameplates Modifier"

Okay... I've been searching for whatever mod the warlock in cuties only uses for nameplates in his videos for a while now. I believe I even posted in the addon ID thread, but no one could really help (a few people said aloft, but that's not it). Now, Rasia (the lock) has his/her UI available for download on the guild's website. I have never copied an entire UI or even specific settings for an individual addon from someone else before. Searching through the addon folder, the only "addon" that I can find which could possibly be what I'm looking for is called "Nameplates Modifier". I copied the folder into my own addons folder, but it doesn't seem to do anything. It's listed as an addon at the addon selection screen, but there seems to be no UI or anything like that in-game. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or I'm just being really stupid (it's really late/early atm) but I just can't figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Out of the hundreds of wow videos I've watched, I really like this nameplate setup the best and would love to copy it. Thanks.

Fairly new addon I wanted to share with you guys...

SnowfallKeyPress (SnowfallKeyPress: WoWInterface) is an addon that makes your abilities activate on key press rather than key release.

The author claims it's "similar to reducing your network latency by 100ms" and seems to be aimed more toward PVPers, but the benefit I've noticed is with weaving rage dumps and bloodsurge procs into the fury rotation more cleanly. In theory this should speed up any rotation, especially those that are GCD locked or have proc-based abilities.

Is anyone else using it? I'm interested how other class/specs will benefit from it.

Hey, is there a addon that shows a cooldown as a single button that I can move around? I've tried ghost pulse but I don't use a mouse.. I use a trackball so I can't make it smaller. Are there any others? I don't really want to use Doom since it doesn't have the config. I want. Is there a way to change the way to make ghost pulse smaller without a mouse?

General Aloft threat help

I tried out Aloft, but couldn't get it configured the way I liked. In one of the tanking guides here, Aloft is configured so that the bar (health bar I assume) changes color depending on the aggro status.

How do you do this?

When I was playing around with Aloft, all I could figure out how to do were enable a glow around the frame and display a tiny second bar that showed threat.

What I want is one bar that shows the mob's health that changes color based on threat/aggro. So one color if I have aggro, another color if I'm going to lose aggro and a third color if someone other than me has aggro.

General Cast Bar color.

So I have been modifying my UI and its almost set up except that I am not happy with my cast bar color.

What I would like is for the cast bar to have the class color but right now I am using quartz and I can recolor the bar but not make it switch to class colors. Can someone help me there?

FYI, I am open to using different addons or some lua code attached to quartz to make this happen

i wanna make a macro that gives a /rw to my focus target

like: /rw (name of player) taunt of me

the trick is that i dont wanna edit it everytime im with a new tank, sow it there a way to just make it say the name of my focus target???

Hello all.

i am currently using Sunnart Viewports, and it just isnt working for me. i've seen people using KgPanels and i like the look of it, i recently saw that Aliena has KgPanels and that she created the design of her panels herself. now i was wandering if any of you out there who is exceptionally good at using photoshop would be able create me custom panels for my UI.

if you are willing to help me out it will be most appreciated, and ill be one step closer to making the perfect ui.

General satrina buff frames

Today my buff frames seemed to update themselves in the middle of a raid. I got a message annoucing there was some new changes coming and to read the change guide and then all my buff bars were gone and reset to the default. right before a boss. kinda sucked. could it have something to do with the 3 server restarts we had today?

Is there any way to move the 'Unsuccessful Attempts remaining' text which appears in ToC?

If possible, I'd like to move it a bit down since It's in the way of my new pretty buff frame, but I haven't found any way to do so. You can see what I mean in this screenshot.

I know I fail at writing macros, so I thank you in advance for you indulgence in sharing your skill.

I'd like a macro that will:

On CLICK - cast (or start fishing)

On SHIFT-CLICK
- apply to my fishing pole (already equipped) a lure from Weather Beaten Fishing Hat []Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat - Item - World of Warcraft if equipped
- apply to my fishing pole (already equipped) a Sharpened Fish Hook []Sharpened Fish Hook - Item - World of Warcraft if no Weather Beaten Fishing Hat is equipped

Note - I use ItemRack with a fishing gear set to equip a pole (and a fishing hat for my toons that have one).

im desperately looking for a Addon that alerts me when i can use "Revenge" being NOT in Defense Stance.

I cant find anything. EventAlert etc. is showing me when to Revenge but only when im in Defense Stance.
