| | | I'm having an issue with the macros, I'm not a programmer so this stuff is greek to me. I copied the macro directly and pasted it into the macro screen. I've cleaned up a few spaces/broken words issues that I could recognize but still:
Error: unexpected symbol near ')'
String: local a,b=UnitDefense ("player") a = (a+b-350)/25 DEFAULT_CHAT...
Count: 1
Is the error I get, not sure what to do to fix it. |

| | | I reformatted the macros a bit anyway so there aren't any unintentional spaces |

I'm a Warrior tank with no experience with Protection Paladins
Just out of curiosity, is it feasible is it for a Paladin to be Holy Shield crush-immune for say...beginning Karazhan? If not, at what point during progression is reasonable for shield crush immune? | It's possible, but you need to run some heroics before. A warrior can slack before entering Kara, a paladin not.

| | | Very nicely written and well thought out post.
It is pretty important to be Holy Shield uncrush for a Paladin, maybe not so much now as pre-2.3 though.

| | | Depends. Attumen, for example, hits like a wet noodle. Maiden isn't much worse (though you won't want to tank her as a paladin anyway). Moroes hits harder, but he's DWing, so being crush-immune on him isn't that much of an issue. As for Opera, the only one who hits hard enough for it to be an issue is Romulo -- and he's also DWing.
I don't see it becoming a serious problem before Curator, and even then... *shrug*
There's plenty of loot to help you on the way in early KZ, especially after 2.3 with the badge rewards. |

| | | what baout druid tanks? I have a question, how do you calculate druids uncrushable? I've been told for a long time that def rating 415 does it, but would like to know how we figure it out for us with no block or parry... |

| | | Druids get uncrittable, not uncrushable, at 415 Defense (assuming they've taken the Leader of the Pack talent, which they very much should).
Druids become uncrushable if their combined Miss + Dodge chance = 102.4%, or, assuming they never get hit. They have no other way to become uncrushable. |
