Regarding crusader thats what I said. I use it for threat but you have to spec to add a debuff to the boss (3 percent crit) I have to keep it up to stay above elete dps.

Since discovery of cinderhelm's article on the wow site and the creation of this sight more warriors have been gearing strickly for effective health.

I'm saying paladins do to that fact they need 102.4 percent avoidance/sheildblock with holy shield up for crushing blow immunity they will have more avoidance that warriors. But it of course depends on the player. I know a few paladins who spec for effective health by filling the uncrushability stats with shield block rating to have room for more stamina options.

ROFL. Just finished reading the 12 page string of comments on the warrior forums: Cider- keep up the good fight. Who are these people? And why is it that a QQ post is inevitably scripted by a poster who calls you "Cinderhelm." It's hilarious how much the two go hand in hand. I'm having fun watching this.

You guys are great. Thanks for teaching me everything I know about this game. I was born into WoW through tankspot. I salute you all for your time and efforts.

Yeah, Cider's thread just makes me laugh. People are going to complain no matter what. Sorry to say, warriors are never going to be 1-button tanks. It takes work, something all these flamers dont want to put into their character. Myself, I love trying to tank multi-mob packs. It changes up the pace, and generally I get pretty bored of just tanking 1 mob all the time. Anyway, great post and keep up the good fight!

Great post. Personally, I think that if anything is broken with Prot warriors, its that its generally regarded as difficult to level with them. Conversely, prot and feral are regarded as good/viable specs for leveling a paladin or a druid. I leveled as a prot warrior, and I think I am a better tank because of it.

In fact, you could argue that that is one of the major flaws of the game as a whole. Practice in a party environment is necessary to know what to do. The reason we don't learn all our skills at level 1 is it takes time to master any class, and every skill all at once can be overwhelming. We build an understanding as we level up. Playing as a prot warrior is not the same as playing as an arms/fury warrior. Trying to learn to tank starting at level 70 is like starting over with a new skill set. Now I know this might not be 100% true. Some people are faster learners than others, and an arms warrior who does tank while leveling should have most of the basics down. One thing that always suprises me when talking to other people in the game is how few instances they have done. I repeatability hear in a heroic group I am in that they have never even seen the instance before. Perhaps leveling as prot forced me to instance to level, but honestly, I had way more fun doing it that way than solo grinding (I was lucky enough to have friends to group with).
