3.0.8 the patch that angered the DKs.

What can I say about patch 3.0.8 that most people haven't already... not a whole lot. The only way I've been impacted by this change would happen to be via the fact Obliterate does not generate any runic power anymore. Which hoses both tanks and dps that use the ability.
Howling blast having a cooldown really changes nothing as I've been a frost dk since WotLK came out and levelled in my "tank" spec all the way to 80, so my rotation is pretty much already going on muscle memory. I'm going to have to give DK tanking post 3.0.8 a few more raids before I can fully decide how messed up things are.

- The only problem I've been having is my HB isn't using a 5second CD all the time. Sometimes it's 7, sometimes 9, very wierd but I read a blue post that they're working on the irregularities

Arethius, Thats interesting I used to actually have that problem before the patch I just chalked it up to me constantly hitting the button and it was resetting the GCD or something.Posted 01-23-2009 at 08:21 AM by xKhellendrosx - Sometimes I think it's my rune CDs that are messing with the CD I see since I use dominos and it's a bit busted atm so it could also be that.

But..it really hasn't angered me o.O In a DPS fashion, a lot of people don't understand the changes didn't do much difference. People were just happy to see big numbers from Howling Blast constantly when you could simply work your way through change.
Adaptability just seems to be something that people don't understand nor could they ever understand it seems. It's odd though that people would play a game and not understand this simple concept.
It's what makes us so adept in life: to adapt. No matter what Blizzard throws at me, I always adapted and changed it so I did great DPS or great healing (Back in my resto shaman days)...
