Catching Up

Posted 05-18-2008 at 01:36 AM by Xepri
I know you're just dying for the deets on where I was (riiiiiight...) this whole time. Well, I joined TankSpot... and promptly moved to my dad's INTERNETLESS house! (gasp! shock!)

So that's where I was up until now. Currently I live in Ohio (my secret mission is to coincidentally land in Tacoma, bwahaha!) and am planning on going back to school in the fall. Life has suddenly turned very up.

As for WoW, of course Xepri went guildless during that time, but now she's back and I'm debating what to do. Should I switch servers? Go into a raiding guild? Pop into <TankSpot> out of nowhere!? It could be anything.

I think that I would love to see where playing Xepri will get me. I can play a warrior really well, it's just the gear (naturally!) that holds me back at this point. Thank god for reputation rewards and the badges from dailies, because without those I'd have zero current direction whatsoever.

We'll see where this goes. Maybe someone will just influence me enough to randomly Go Where No Xep Has Gone Before(tm).

Internetless (is that a word?) houses still exist? So it's 2:30 in Ohio, this further proves that all the cool people come to Tankspot in the early AM.

Yes, they do. My pop's house is out in the middle of nowhere, and they haven't laid internet cable down there yet. The most they could get is satellite internet, but that costs SO MUCH. We're talking $700 set up, $80/month.
