A 2nd impression of the new 5 man

Well when I last discussed this topic, I was more disgusted then discussing. Due to my love for this game I guess it's not completely unexpected that I've acquired a taste for this new encounter.

Why?
Rogues.

As expected Rogues eat this place alive even on Heroic and coupled with a Mage or Shadow Priest (MC) for additional CC make it a very quick and enjoyable experience. A full run with the necessary skipping is doable in easily under an hour for 4 badges which...

Boss are kinda cool.

I hate the trash.
- Unnecessarily close pulls
- mobs that throw crap at you and knock you down
- millions of casters
- shadowstep...

It's basically catered to bringing a rogue as far as I can tell after 1 run through.

Hopefully, this place will grow on me because at the moment I'm simply not a fan.

After reading the reports on the PTR that Cleave (along with virtually every other cleave style effect in the game) is no longer going to hit CC, I have to say I was shocked. (still am really) It really represents a dumbing down of what was required for warrior tanking in the past. Ultimately, simplicity is a good thing though. It allows for greater complexity to be added later in the game to our class. (as I mentioned a couple posts ago) It also aligns with my vision of how all 4 tanks will get...

The Next Step in Warrior Tanking Evolution?

I've been thinking lately on the Devastate change and just how important it was to have one less ability to worry about when tanking.

I simply don't think it could be an enjoyable experience for most people if we had too many abilities to use. The fact is that rotations in some way, shape or form must exist and hogging the global cooldown with yet another ability is tough. Which poses an interesting dilemma for level 80.

Are they going to add complexity or simplify?...
